The new year is moving along nicely, and much faster than I expected. With a new year comes a new store to my site, Topco Toyz – welcome! They carry a lot of great items, and recently sent me the UltraZone Arctic Wave for free to review.
The Arctic Wave comes in a white cardboard box, with pictures of the toy on the front and back in the color of the toy. It comes in pink, purple, and blue, and I received the blue one, which is a nice turquoise shade. Also in the box are a grey storage bag and a USB charging cable.
This is a compact vibrator, at just 5 1/2” long (measured straight up and down) – 3” of that is insertable. The shaft is slim, at just over 1” in diameter at the top and narrowing down to about 7/8” at the base, and it’s gently curved for G-spot stimulation. This vibrator is made of silicone, is firm, and the surface is slick with no drag, so you won’t have to use much lube to get the shaft slick (water-based lube is recommended). The base of the Arctic Wave has a hole large enough to insert a finger, and this helps control the toy during use.
The Arctic Wave is rechargeable, and uses a USB cable to charge.The charging cable connects to the Wave by 2 magnetic contacts on the back of the toy. When the connection is made and the Wave is plugged in, a light on the back of the charger flashes red to indicate charging – it glows a steady green when done.
This vibrator has just one button for control. Press and hold the button for a few seconds, and the vibrator will start up on low, steady vibrations. Additional presses of the button will cycle through the following patterns:
– medium, steady vibrations
– high, steady vibrations
– pulses
– long pulse followed by short, fluttery pulses
– 3 strong pulses followed by 4 moderate pulses
– alternating strong and moderate pulse pattern
– strong and medium pulses
– fluttery pulses in groups of vibration
– off
You can also turn the Arctic Wave off by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds when it’s on.
The vibrations are moderate, and somewhat buzzy. They travel down the shaft well, and they aren’t felt strongly at the base. The Wave is very quiet – you will hardly hear it when it’s on, even when it’s on high.
This is a waterproof vibrator, so it’s fine to take with you into the shower or bath.
The Arctic Wave is easy to clean with antibacterial soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes. It can be stored in its bag, along with its charging cord, when not in use.
So, Did It Work? This is a fun little vibrator. Since it’s not flexible and has a firm, round tip, it’s ideal for clitoral stimulation as well as G-spot stimulation. The vibrations are enough to bring me to orgasm, and I love that it has a hole in the base so I can control its movement with my finger. It has some good patterns, including a fluttery pulse that I hadn’t felt before, and that I really like.

These clamps come in a large, clear clamshell case. They’re visible through the front, and the enclosed paper has product information on the front and back. The case is easy to open, and inside are the clamps with attached bullets and the controller.
The clamps only come in black. The clamps themselves are non-tarnishing iron, while the pads on the tips and the cord are made from phthalate-free PVC. The bullets and the controller are made of ABS plastic with a smooth finish.
adjust. It should fit most nipples, whether large or small, and once it’s at the desired tightness it stays in place. The bullet and clamp don’t weigh a lot, but you will notice a pulling sensation. The clamps are most comfortable with the bullet hanging down if you’re standing, and to the outside if you’re lying on your back. The bullets have a 15” cord leading from them, and once the cords join, the cord is an additional 15” long before it attaches to the controller.
This is not a waterproof toy, so care should be used when cleaning. The bullets, clamps, and controller can be wiped with toy cleaner, toy wipes, or antibacterial soap and water – neither the bullets or the controller should be submerged. It’s easy to store this in a toy bag or small box, and the batteries should be removed when storing it.
So, Did It Work? My nipples are pretty large, and I usually have some trouble with nipple clamps that aren’t the tweezer style. These clamps, however, were adjustable enough to get on my nipples, and I could tighten them down enough so they didn’t slip off. They were heavier than I was expecting, but they weren’t so heavy that they bothered me (and they are really quite light – but heavier than the nipple clamps I’ve worn before).
The 
This vibrator comes in pink, red, and purple, and I received mine in pink. The color is rich and deep, and a nice change from the standard bubblegum pink color. It’s made of silicone, so it’s phthalate free and odorless. The silicone is smooth with just a bit of drag, and the seam is almost undetectable around the toy (you won’t notice it at all during use). If needed, a water-based lube will make the S8 slick and easy to insert.

To start the S8, press the button once. The S8 will start up on its low vibration speed. To increase the intensity, press and hold the button until it’s at the desired level. The LED light will flash faster and faster with the change in speed. To turn the S8 off, press the button again (don’t hold it down). The S8 doesn’t have patterns, but its steady vibration is fairly rumbly, and it’s quiet even on the strongest vibration. The vibrations are strongest in the insertable part, but are also nicely felt through the clit stimulator.
I like the 
There is some give down the shaft, due to the silicone being loose over the inner workings of the toy – this also makes the shaft a bit flexible for better positioning. The shaft is gently curved and about 5 1/2” long, with a maximum 1 1/4” diameter, and even with its rounded head is easy to insert.
Rechargeable toys are always a plus, and the Jack Rabbit is charged via the included USB cable. The jack slips into the charging port on the back side of the toy, and the other end can be connected to your computer’s USB port, or to a wall adapter. LED lights under the silicone backlight the buttons in a flashing pattern while the toy is charging – the lights will glow steadily when charging is complete, which will take 
a maximum of 3 hours, depending on the charge remaining in the Jack Rabbit when it’s plugged in. Once fully charged, this rabbit will run for 3 1/2 hours on high settings, and up to 6 hours on the low settings.
The front panel has 3 control buttons, which are silicone and easy to press. The middle button is a dedicated on/off button, so you can turn the Jack Rabbit off quickly if necessary. Pressing this button once turns the toy on and backlights the buttons, but doesn’t power up the motors. The top button is the pattern button, and each press cycles between the following patterns:
When the Jack Rabbit is turned off and then back off, it starts at the first setting. So what do you do if you like another setting better? This is what the bottom button is for. This button is marked R, and is easy to use. Once you’re on the setting you like, press and hold the R button for about 3 seconds – it will rapidly flash – and this will set the pattern. Now, you can turn on the Jack Rabbit and press R, and it will immediately go back to the setting you stored. If you change your mind at some point and want to store another pattern, simply go to that pattern and hold the button down for 3 seconds.
So, Did It Work? The Jack Rabbit has a lot going for it. The size of the shaft is great, the silicone has a great feel, and the slight curve makes it easy to insert. The clit arm is long enough for me to have the vibrations hit where I want them to. I love the idea of a memory button – it’s a rare thing that I like the first vibration pattern, and this way I can go right to the setting I want to use. The vibrations aren’t overwhelmingly strong, but they’re strong enough to get me going, and ultimately get me to orgasm. Plus, this is rechargeable and has a long running time, which is good for those marathon sessions.
