What About B.O.B.?

I have a pretty large collection of vibrators and dildos, most of which aren’t terribly realistic. I like realistic ones, particularly for dildos, and a suction cup is always a bonus! I’d been looking at a new brand called Pink B.O.B, and they were kind enough to send me the Ultra Real Suction Cup Dildo to try out for free, in exchange for an unbiased review.

Although B.O.B. does stand for what you think it does, they do make and sell a lot of non-battery operated toys. The dildo that I received came in a plain pink box with just the product name and some information on the back. Inside, it was sealed in plastic.

This is a nice looking dildo, and it’s a good size for me. It’s about 8” long overall, from the tip to the bottom of the suction cup, with 6” of insertable length, and it’s a nice 1.5” in diameter (4.75” circumference). It looks pretty realistic, and has a nice veined texture down the shaft as well as a well-defined head. The shaft is quite flexible, and I could bend it almost in half (it went right back to it’s normal shape when I let go). The dildo also has a curve, allowing it to hit your g-spot when thrusting.

The suction cup holds well on a flat, dry surface and really holds firm. It works on chairs, tables, shower walls – just about anything you can imagine that has a smooth texture. The suction cup is great for hands-free use, and it’s also great to hold on to while thrusting (holding onto the well-defined balls works as well). The cup also works well in my fucking machine and stays in place securely when it’s in motion.

The box doesn’t list the material, but the website says it’s 100% silicone. It is, indeed, odorless and flavorless, and it doesn’t have an oily feel. It feels soft and silky. The silicone is dual-layered, so it has the soft outer skin over a firmer but flexible inner.

You will want to use a good water-based lube when using this dildo, to make insertion and use easier. It’s easy to clean after play with soap and water or a toy cleaner.

Thank you to TooTimid for sending me this to review! I really like this dildo. It’s a great size, feels good, and is easy to use. If you’ve been looking for a realistic dildo that’s made of a body-safe material and has a suction cup to boot, you can pick one up at PinkBob.com, or at TooTimid by clicking the widget below.

Squeeze Me, Please Me

Happy 2015! January here is starting off with crazy cold, snow, and lots of wind, so it’s a great time to hunker indoors and enjoy a few sex toys. This month, I’m back to rabbits, and I was excited to try out Cal Exotics’ Impress Tongue, with its interesting control pad, which I received free for review as part of their Sexpert program.

calexpinkboxThe Impress Tongue comes in a white box with the toy visible through a front window. A picture and product information are on the back. The box has a magnetic closure, making the box good for storage if you don’t mind it being visible through the lid. Inside the box, the Impress rests in a plastic tray, and under the tray are three small instruction manuals, one specific to the Impress Tongue operation.

calexpinkinboxThis vibrator is made of silicone (except the battery cover, which is made of ABS plastic covered with a PU Cote) and comes in pink, blue, and purple. I received mine in pink, and it’s a bright, bubble-gum shade. The silicone is slick and smooth to the touch with no drag, and the tip and clit arm have just a bit of give when squeezed.

calexpinkwhatcomesThe Impress Tongue is a nice-looking rabbit vibrator,  with sleek lines. It’s 9 1/2” long overall, with its shaft being flattened and broader than thick. The shaft is 4 1/4” insertable and about 1 1/2” across. The clit arm is 1 1/2” long, and about 1 1/4” wide, and is flexible out from the toy’s body.  This vibrator has dual bullets, one located in the tip of the shaft, and one located in the clit arm.

calexpinkbatteryOn the back the toy is the battery compartment. The cover slides off, and 3 AAA batteries can easily be inserted. Once the battery lid is firmly seated back in place, the Impress Tongue is waterproof and can be used in the shower or tub.

calexpinkbuttonsThe Impress Tongue has 3 buttons, as well as a pressure sensitive control pad. Below the clit arm, the top button is a dedicated on/off button, so you can get started or shut down in a hurry. It has an LED light behind the button to indicate when the toy is on. Below this button are two others. The left button is a pattern button – once the Tongue is turned on, pressing this button will cycle through 12 functions and patterns – some of these have both motors in sync, and others alternate between the shaft and arm. The control pad is essentially a large, squishy pad area below the buttons. When the Tongue is on any pattern, squeezing the pad hard will increase the intensity of the vibrations (depending on how hard you squeeze), and releasing the pad, or squeezing lightly, will lessen the vibration strength. If you like to vary the strength, you can squeeze and release during use. If, however, you like a certain intensity, simply press the right button once while still squeezing the pad – this will lock the Tongue on that intensity. To unlock, press the lock button again. The vibrations are somewhat buzzy, and they are musical, yet pretty quiet – any sort of background noise should hide the Tongue’s use.

This is an easy to clean vibrator: simply wash before use with antibacterial soap and warm water (or use toy wipes or a toy cleaner), then dry. It can be stored in its box, or in a toybag. Water-based lube is recommended; if you prefer silicone or hybrid lubes, do a spot test towards the bottom of the shaft first.

calexpinkclitarmflexSo, Does It Work?  This is an interesting rabbit vibrator, with both pros and cons for me. I like the size and shape of the shaft quite a bit – it’s easy to insert and feels good inside. Having dual bullets is also good – the one in the shaft has a good placement for me. The clit arm is short for me – it needs to be just a bit longer to really hit my clit like it should.  The dedicated on/off button is good, as I dislike having to hold a button for a few seconds to turn off a toy. Since this uses 3 AAA batteries, it isn’t a powerhouse in the vibration department, although the vibrations are decently strong, especially on high.

The big, new feature of this rabbit is, of course, the touch pad. I like this idea quite a bit – it’s a large pad, and it’s easy to squeeze. It’s fun to adjust the intensity up and down by squeezing and releasing. I do like that is has a lock button to lock the speed, but it is a bit tricky, especially initially, to hit the right button – I kept finding myself hitting the pattern button instead, which meant, if I didn’t like the pattern, I had to either cycle through or turn the toy off and then back on and cycle. Once I got the hang of it, it was easier to hit lock, but I think a different button placement might have worked better.  I would love to try this pad on other toys.

Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending this to me for free to review as part of their Sexpert program! If you’re looking for a battery-powered rabbit with a variety of functions and intensity levels, moderately strong power, and moderate size, the Impress Tongue is a good one to check out. You can find the Tongue, and other vibrators in the Cal Exotics’ Impress line, at SheVibe.

Stars In My Eyes

Jopen has some fun looking products. I’ve got quite a few of their Vanity line, including the VR line, including several of the rabbits and the VR9, but I hadn’t had an opportunity to try their other toys. I was excited to receive recently the Key Comet II, a G-spot vibrator, from Jopen for free in exchange for this review.

cometouterboxThe Key Comet II from Jopen comes in blue, lavender, and pink. I received mine in blue, which is a lovely, vibrant peacock blue color. It arrived in a black box with the toy pictured on the front in its color, and information on the back. The bottom half of the box is covered by a slip-cover which, when removed, gives access to the rest of the box. It has a lift-open lid, and inside are the Comet II, a USB charging cord, a storage bag, and a small instruction sheet with how to operate the toy.

cometinfoamThis is a lovely vibrator, with its blue shaft and darker blue handle. The toy has a large, rounded head and a sweeping curve for the shaft which is accented by gentle swirling patterns.

cometinboxThe curve is pronounced, and allows the Comet II to be easily used for G-Spot stimulation. The shaft is insertable to about 5 ¼”, and it’s a smooth, slick silicone that has no drag to the surface. The head is about 1 ½” in diameter, and is the widest part of the toy.

cometinhandUsing water-based or silicone-based lube is a must to insert the Comet II, although you won’t need a lot to make it slick. The degree of the shaft’s curve makes it easy to insert once it’s been lubricated, and the head hits nicely on the G-Spot. The handle is easy to grip and maneuver the shaft and head into the position that’s most enjoyable for you.

The Comet II is rechargeable, and charges via USB connector. The back of the shaft has two magnetic contacts, and the USB cable attaches easily and securely. It takes just 4 hours to fully charge, and then the Comet II will run for 2-3 hours before needing to be charged again. It should not be charged for more than 24 hours.

This is easy to operate. On the handle at the bottom, one side has a large, flat, silver button (made of stainless-steel alloy) labeled “Key”. This is the only control cometbuttonbutton. Pressing and holding this button for 3 seconds turns the Comet II on or off. Pressing the button after the Comet II is turned on will cycle through the 7 vibration and patterned settings. The motor is located in the head, so the vibrations are concentrated where they need to be. They do travel down the shaft and into the handle but are nowhere near as strong. The vibrations are rumbly and intense, and they are also very quiet. Even if you’re using the Comet II’s head for some clitoral stimulation, you won’t need more than quiet background noise to cover the sound.

cometmagportThe Comet II is waterproof, so it’s great to use in the shower or tub. This also makes it easy to clean. It should be washed before and after use with an antibacterial soap and warm water, then thoroughly dried before storing or charging. A black lint-free bag is included for storage, or you can store the Comet II in the box it comes in.

cometchargeSo, Did It Work? I love the Comet II! It’s got a wonderful curve to it, and it’s easy to hold and manipulate against my G-Spot. The motor is located in the head, so the vibrations are strongest where I need them, and they are wonderfully strong. I also like the size and firmness of the head, as it also works well if I use the Comet II for clit stimulation. The silicone on this toy is super slick, so it just takes a bit of lube to ready it for use. The button isn’t easy to press accidentally (which is one of the worst things ever), so you won’t find yourself switching patterns by mistake.

Thank you to Jopen for sending me the Key Comet II for free to review! If you’re looking for a strong G-Spot vibrator that will make you see stars, the Key Comet II is a great choice. You can pick up this, and other Jopen toys, at SheVibe by clicking the widget below. And don’t forget to check out Jopen on Facebook and Twitter!

I Love To Cuddle

I’ve had a few OhMiBod vibrators, all of which worked with my iPod and were enjoyable to use. Now they have a line called Lovelife, which don’t use music but do have pretty designs, and they look like fun. GoodVibes recently sent me one of the new Lovelife vibrators, the Cuddle G-Spot, for free in exchange for this review.

ohboxThe Cuddle G-Spot vibrator comes nicely packaged. It has a slipcase in pink, and a cutout the size of the vibrator inside on the front of the box, through which the pink and white interlocking-heart-patterned box shows. It looks a bit strange, and reminds me of a pantyliner, which would actually make the box somewhat discreet if the back didn’t have a picture of the vibe. ohinboxThe slipcover sides have some information about the toy. The box itself is a pink and white design, and is pretty sturdy – ideal for storing the Cuddle when it’s not in use. Inside the box are the vibrator, a white satin storage bag, a USB charging cable, and an instruction manual in several languages, which includes information on the one year warranty. This vibrator only comes in pink and white, like the rest of the products in the line.  The color is nice and not too light.

ohoutofboxThis G-spot vibrator is about 6 1/2” long overall, with 4 1/2” insertable. The insertable portion is silicone, and it’s slick to the touch with very little give – what give it has is around the tip; the shaft is firm, and the toy isn’t flexible.  The head is the widest point of the Cuddle, at about 1 1/4”, and the shaft narrows as it gets closer to the base.  The shaft has a gentle curve, allowing for G-spot stimulation.

The Cuddle is rechargeable, and its charging port is located on the bottom of the white ABS plastic base. The jacked end of the charging cable is easy to insert, and the other end can be inserted into a computer’s USB port or a wall adapter. The Cuddle takes about 2 1/2 hours to fully charge, and will run for approximately 2 hours on the strongest setting (longer on lower settings). The white LED light around the control buttons will flash while the toy is charging, and will glow steady when charging is complete. It has a standby time of about 90 days, so you can charge it up and it will be ready to go when you are.

ohbasebuttonsThe control panel is located on the front of the base. Three buttons are located inside the heart-shaped control panel: a +, a -, and a ~. Holding the ~ button for three seconds turns the Cuddle on or off, and pressing it briefly during use changes the vibration and pulsation. The + and – control the strength of the seven vibrations or patterns, and there are six different levels for each. The vibrations are moderately strong, and concentrated mostly in the tip, so you can use this for clit stimulation as well. They’re pretty quiet, too, especially when the Cuddle is inserted.

The Cuddle is splashproof but not waterproof, so you won’t be able to use this in the shower or bath. It’s easy to clean with water and antibacterial soap (don’t submerge it or get water in the charging port, and just wipe the base if necessary), toy cleaner, or toy wipes. Once it’s dried thorougly, it can be stored in its satin bag or in its box, along with its charging cord.

ohinhandSo, Did It Work? I love the Cuddle. The curve and size work well for me, and it’s easy to hit my G-Spot. The vibrations are not strong enough for me to get off if I use this on my clit, but internally they’re enough. I also like that the patterns can be changed in intensity – usually these patterns are only one strength, but with the cuddle, I can set them as strong or as weak as I’d like. The charge time and run time are decent, and I like that it charges via USB. The only thing I’d change with the Cuddle would be to make this waterproof – I’d love to be able to take this with me in the tub.

Thank you to GoodVibes for sending me the Lovelife Cuddle G-Spot Vibrator for free to review! If you’d like to try the Cuddle, or the Lovelife line, you can pick one up at GoodVibes.com.

I’m In Heaven

Along with the Hitachi, I reviewed a few attachments for this powerhouse vibrator. This review was published with non-exclusive rights on another website. I’m reposting it here (with a few edits.)

If you’re looking for a slow, building orgasm, this attachment is not for you. If you love your Hitachi or other ball-head massager, and wish that power could be harnessed in an insertable vibrator, this is the extension to buy. Intense orgasms guaranteed!

bluehitachicapCan the Hitachi Magic Wand be any more fantastic? Why yes, yes it can, with the G-Plus Massager Attachment from Sinclair Intimacy Institute. This attachment fits many massage-style vibrators with the rounded head. It’s a pretty turquoise color, and comes packaged in a plastic box. The attachment is made of TPR rubber. It’s phthalates free and latex free, and had no scent coming out of the box. TPR has good wear resistance and is dirt repellent, but it is porous, so it can’t be sterilized. It can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap, and both silicone and water-based lubes can be used safely.

bluecapflexThe attachment has an opening at the bottom, and slips easily, but securely over the massager head. A small instruction sheet is included and shows how to correctly place the attachment. The shape is a little strange – it looks a bit like Gonzo’s beak (from the Muppet Show). The longer extension (4” insertable) is for g-spot stimulation, and has a 1” diameter. The smaller extension is about 2” long with a 1” diameter, and nestles against the clitoris when the other end is inserted. Once lube is applied and the extension is in place, the Hitachi is ready to be plugged in and turned on.

bluecaponhitachiIt’s best to be seated or lying down, and start the Hitachi on low. The sensation is amazing – the power of the Hitachi in an insertable vibrator! Your muscles want to clench around it, and they do. It’s almost impossible to relax and open up due to the vibrations. On top of what you can feel internally, the clitoral extension hits just right and stimulates your clitoris like there’s no tomorrow. If you’re adventurous, go for the high setting, and the attachment will bring you a crying, screaming orgasm in minutes.

While a g-spot orgasm eludes me, the orgasms from this attachment are phenomenal. Without the clitoral stimulation, I might have had one with this, but you can’t get away from it. No complaints, though! Forced orgasm play was incredible with this toy as well.

I can’t recommend this enough if you love your Hitachi. You’ll love it even more, if that’s possible. You can pick up this attachment at Pink Cherry.
