Summer is upon us, and it’s a great time to try out new sex toys! In May, Cal Exotics announced a new line of products called Inspire, which they created to support the non-profit organization called Living Beyond Breast Cancer. They are also donating proceeds from the items in this line to this organization. It’s a great cause, and a great way to help support this organization! Inspire products include a Breast Massager, Kegel exercisers and trainers, wands, a teaser, and a dilator kit, and I received the Vibrating Ultimate Wand (in addition to the Kegel Exerciser, which I will be reviewing later) to for free to review.
The Inspire Vibrating Ultimate Wand comes in a clear plastic box, with a bottom white and pink cardboard 1/2 box that it sits inside. white The toy is visible through the clear upper half of the box, and product information is included on the back of the box bottom. Inside the box are the wand, a USB charging cable, a general instruction booklet, and an information sheet about products in the Inspire line.
This wand comes in pale pink, and it’s a nice, pale, bubble gum color. The entire wand is covered in this pink silicone (even the neck area), and it has just a bit of give all over its surface. The wand is what I’d call medium-sized, at 8 1/2” long. The head size is about 1 3/4” in diameter, so it’s nice and big, and easy to position to cover your clit and surrounding areas.
The Ultimate Wand is rechargeable, and the charge port is located on the bottom of the wand’s handle. It takes 2 1/2 hours to completely charge, and the wand should be charged before the first use.
The wand is controlled by two buttons. The top button is the on/off button, and the bottom button cycles through the patterns. This also has a locking feature, making it great for traveling. To unlock, press and hold the top button for 2 seconds – red LED lights under the buttons will flash. Then, pressing and releasing the top button will turn the wand on. Pressing the bottom button will cycle through 10 patterns, which include 3 steady vibration modes, and 7 pulse patterns. To turn the wand off, press the top button once. To lock the wand, once it’s off, press and hold the top button for 2 seconds – the lights will flash, letting you know it’s locked.
This wand runs for about 1 1/2 hours on high speed, and about 3 hours on low speed. The vibrations are pretty rumbly, and they’re quite strong, but also fairly quiet – any background noise will mute the fact that you’re using this. The Ultimate Wand is waterproof, so it’s great to take into the shower or tub. You can use water-based lube if necessary.
Since it’s waterproof, and also since it’s covered in silicone, the Ultimate Wand is easy to clean – you can use antibacterial soap and warm water, a toy cleaner, or wipes. It can be stored with its charging cable in a toy bag or box (the box it comes in isn’t ideal for storage).
So, Did It Work? I really love this wand. One thing that always drives me nuts with wand vibrators is that the head where it joins the toy’s neck always has access for water, making it unusable in the tub and also making it more difficult to clean. The Ultimate Wand doesn’t have this head/neck separation – it’s nice and smooth, and covered with silicone, so there’s 
no worry cleaning that water will get in, plus it’s now good for water play. I like that it has the locking feature, which many of the wands I have do not. And I love the vibrations! They’re strong, pretty rumbly, and there’s a variety of patterns that I really enjoy. The running time is enough for a session or two, and it doesn’t take too long to recharge, which is another plus. The only improvement would be for a storage bag to be included, as the box really isn’t a good way to store this.

The bar, which is made of nickel-free black iron, is 15 ½” long with 8 evenly spaced holes to attach the end pieces. These pieces are just over 12” long, and have a black metal loop (which unscrews) on each end. Both pieces are covered with red and black polyester fabric which has a lacy pattern to it. The fabric is well secured to both ends and also down the seam. Each of these pieces also has a hole about 1” from the end to attach it to the bar.
The fabric covered pieces are attached to the black bar by 2 pins. The pins, which are also made of nickel-free iron, are about 1 ¾” long and have a 1” loop on one end.
With the bar at its shortest, 24”, the spread will be comfortable for most. Depending on the position you’re in, the 36” spread is manageable and will leave you wide open.
These clamps come in a large, clear clamshell case. They’re visible through the front, and the enclosed paper has product information on the front and back. The case is easy to open, and inside are the clamps with attached bullets and the controller.
The clamps only come in black. The clamps themselves are non-tarnishing iron, while the pads on the tips and the cord are made from phthalate-free PVC. The bullets and the controller are made of ABS plastic with a smooth finish.
adjust. It should fit most nipples, whether large or small, and once it’s at the desired tightness it stays in place. The bullet and clamp don’t weigh a lot, but you will notice a pulling sensation. The clamps are most comfortable with the bullet hanging down if you’re standing, and to the outside if you’re lying on your back. The bullets have a 15” cord leading from them, and once the cords join, the cord is an additional 15” long before it attaches to the controller.
This is not a waterproof toy, so care should be used when cleaning. The bullets, clamps, and controller can be wiped with toy cleaner, toy wipes, or antibacterial soap and water – neither the bullets or the controller should be submerged. It’s easy to store this in a toy bag or small box, and the batteries should be removed when storing it.
So, Did It Work? My nipples are pretty large, and I usually have some trouble with nipple clamps that aren’t the tweezer style. These clamps, however, were adjustable enough to get on my nipples, and I could tighten them down enough so they didn’t slip off. They were heavier than I was expecting, but they weren’t so heavy that they bothered me (and they are really quite light – but heavier than the nipple clamps I’ve worn before).
The 
This vibrator comes in pink, red, and purple, and I received mine in pink. The color is rich and deep, and a nice change from the standard bubblegum pink color. It’s made of silicone, so it’s phthalate free and odorless. The silicone is smooth with just a bit of drag, and the seam is almost undetectable around the toy (you won’t notice it at all during use). If needed, a water-based lube will make the S8 slick and easy to insert.

To start the S8, press the button once. The S8 will start up on its low vibration speed. To increase the intensity, press and hold the button until it’s at the desired level. The LED light will flash faster and faster with the change in speed. To turn the S8 off, press the button again (don’t hold it down). The S8 doesn’t have patterns, but its steady vibration is fairly rumbly, and it’s quiet even on the strongest vibration. The vibrations are strongest in the insertable part, but are also nicely felt through the clit stimulator.
I like the
