I love having my nipples played with. Usually it doesn’t involve toys, but sometimes I use jewelry or clamps. The clamps that I’ve used up to now, though, were more decorative (and almost always tweezer clips). I’d never tried vibrating ones before, so I was excited to receive the Nipple Play Advanced Vibrating Heated Nipple Teasers from Cal Exotics for free to review this month as part of their Sexpert program.
These clamps come in a large, clear clamshell case. They’re visible through the front, and the enclosed paper has product information on the front and back. The case is easy to open, and inside are the clamps with attached bullets and the controller.
The clamps only come in black. The clamps themselves are non-tarnishing iron, while the pads on the tips and the cord are made from phthalate-free PVC. The bullets and the controller are made of ABS plastic with a smooth finish.
Each clamp is about 1 3/4″ long and about 5/8” wide, and sits atop a slim bullet, which is about 2” long. The clamp, which is slightly curved underneath, can be loosened or tightened via a screw, and it’s easy to 
adjust. It should fit most nipples, whether large or small, and once it’s at the desired tightness it stays in place. The bullet and clamp don’t weigh a lot, but you will notice a pulling sensation. The clamps are most comfortable with the bullet hanging down if you’re standing, and to the outside if you’re lying on your back. The bullets have a 15” cord leading from them, and once the cords join, the cord is an additional 15” long before it attaches to the controller.
The controller is about 4 1/2” long. It’s contoured and comfortable to hold. The battery compartment is accessed by sliding the cover forward and then up, and it holds 2 AA batteries. On the front of the controller is a single silver, teardrop-shaped button. Pressing the button once starts the bullets vibrating on low, and a second press makes them vibrate on high. A third press of the button will turn the vibrations off. While on low or high speed, the button can also be partially pressed to turn the vibrations on and off at the same speed. The vibrations are buzzy and quite strong, and they’re also pretty quiet. During use, the bullets will warm up, adding to the stimulation.
This is not a waterproof toy, so care should be used when cleaning. The bullets, clamps, and controller can be wiped with toy cleaner, toy wipes, or antibacterial soap and water – neither the bullets or the controller should be submerged. It’s easy to store this in a toy bag or small box, and the batteries should be removed when storing it.
So, Did It Work? My nipples are pretty large, and I usually have some trouble with nipple clamps that aren’t the tweezer style. These clamps, however, were adjustable enough to get on my nipples, and I could tighten them down enough so they didn’t slip off. They were heavier than I was expecting, but they weren’t so heavy that they bothered me (and they are really quite light – but heavier than the nipple clamps I’ve worn before).
I had also never tried vibrating clamps, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The low speed was crazy – my nipples are sensitive, and while I like them pinched and sucked on, even a feather touch will drive me nuts. The vibrations were intense – and felt great. I noticed after a it of steady vibration they stopped feeling it, but a touch on my nipples revealed that they were even more sensitive. The clamps do heat up, but not uncomfortably so, and it adds even more sensation.
The button on this is great – pressing without fully pressing to change the speed stops the vibrations, and it’s a great way to tease and make the vibrations seem more intense.
Overall, I’d recommend these clamps if you like having your nipples teased. They’ll fit a variety of nipple sizes, and the vibrations are fun and arousing.
