TMI Tuesday: Questions…So Many Questions

1. Do you believe in ESP (extrasensory perception)? Do you have those abilities?
I think it’s possible, yes. I don’t have any of these abilities, but I wish I did.

2. Do you laugh when someone tickles you?
Usually, yes. Tickling can be fun.

3. Do you like teamwork?
Sometimes I do – I have worked with some fantastic teams, and some teams that weren’t worth the paper they were organized on. If you’ve got team members that are committed to success, then working on a team is great.

4. What one thing can you do today to feel you have been productive? Will you do it?
I could clean out some of my kitchen cupboards, toss the expired stuff, and arrange what’s left. Yes, I’ll do it – I’ve been meaning to for ages, and there’s no time like now.

5. Finish this phrase: “Hell hath no fury like … ”
Well, a woman scorned is the pat line, but it’s really true. Or maybe it should be “hell hath no fury like me being woken from a sound sleep much too early in the morning.

Bonus: Pick one – Sex:?
1. wild or mild
Definitely wild.
?2. day or night
Either is good, but night is a bit better.
3. top or bottom
Usually bottom, but sometimes it’s fun to be on top.
?4. weekly or monthly
Weekly, definitely.
5. noisy or silent
There’s something to be said for silent sex, when you have to be quiet to avoid being caught. But, noisy sex is so much better.

TMI Tuesday: Down Right Sexy!

1. Have you ever had sex in three or more positions in one session? Name the positions.
Well, yes. Usually, in fact. Our typical positions are missionary, standing from behind, and doggie, although sometimes I like to be on top.

2. Have you ever had sex continuously for more than an hour? Was it all intercourse or other methods of sexual pleasure?
Yes again. While quickies can be fun, I like having long, slower sessions. It’s not all intercourse, but includes a lot of foreplay, and afterplay, which often leads to more intercourse.

3. Have you ever planned and devoted an entire day to sex and sexual activity (with breaks for eating, etc)?
I’ve done this before, although not nearly often enough. It definitely makes for a good day.

4. Have you ever been so loud having sex that housemates/neighbors commented or complained?
On too many occasions to count. I’ve learned that in the summer I need to keep the windows closed – someone once told me that they thought someone was being murdered right down the street – thankfully they didn’t realize what they were really listening to.

5. Have you ever had your sexual technique/style/skill openly praised by someone?
My oral skills, yes.

6. Have you ever gotten really turned on by saying or hearing dirty talk?
Dirty talk can be a real turn-on. I love to be talked dirty to, and I’m pretty good at talking that way as well.

Bonus: What word or words said during sex totally turn you off or distract you from the task at hand?
None really, at least that are said by either of us.

TMI Tuesday: Old Man Winter

A typical winter day.

A typical winter day.

1. Where you live what is the current season?
Here on Ice Planet Hoth, it’s winter. Actually, it was fairly mild through about 1/2 of November, and since then it’s been bitterly cold with lots and lots and lots of snow. The wind has been blowing a lot, giving us many days of wind chills below zero.

2. Do you measure/report the weather temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit?
I use Farenheit.

3. Describe your ideal day of weather?
That’s an easy one. Lots of sun, with a temperature about 85F, and just the slightest breeze. And, of course, low humidity.

4. When it is cold outside I want to:?
a. Run outside naked because it is exhilarating.?
b. Bundle up in warm clothes and take a winter walk.?
c. Turn the heat up, stay indoors, hibernate until warm weather returns.?
d. I do not pay attention to the weather.
I’ll go with c). I like to hibernate with a nice cup of hot coffee underneath a pile of blankets. And maybe a snuggle or two.

5. Do you go “commando” in cold weather or in winter?
Sometimes, yes. I’m not outside a ton during the winter, and thongs aren’t always necessary under a long skirt of a pair of pants.

6. For 10,000 USD Would you rather ride a bike for one mile (1.6 km) in 7 degrees  F/ 14 degrees C weather  or jump naked into a freezing cold Alaskan lake in winter?
I’d do the bike ride, hands down. A mile on a bike in 7F weather would be cold, but not as brutally cold as jumping into a lake.

7. What is your favorite piece of winter clothing?
I love ear muffs. I’ve got a really cool pair that goes behind my neck and wraps up over my ears, and I love wearing them to keep my ears warm.

8. Have you ever worn Long Johns aka long underwear or thermal underwear?
I have on occasion, mostly when I’ve gone skiing.

Bonus: Do you have more or less sex in the winter months vs. other times of year?
I think I have more sex when the weather is warm out, but it’d be a pretty close call.

Happy 2015!

happynewyearLast year was eventful, and not the best on record for me. I’m hopeful that 2015 will be much better, in a lot of different ways. This morning I took a look back at my resolutions for last year – some I did well on, others not so much. This year I hope to do better…seems like I say that every year, but sometimes repetition is the charm.

This year, my resolutions are:

1. Post more on my blog.  This was a resolution I made last year, and I did, in fact, accomplish it. This year I want to post even more, and keep up with several regular posts.

2. Comment more on others’ blogs. I read a lot of blog posts, but I don’t comment as often as I should. This year I’m going to try and comment a lot more often.

3. Write, write, write! I was thrilled to get my first story published this past year, and I’m hoping to get a few more published in 2015. I intend to set aside time every night to write, whether it’s a blog post, a rambling, or an actual story idea. The more I write, the better I will be.

4. Study! Last fall I took the plunge and started learning Japanese. It was amazingly hard at first, but I feel like I’m getting a grasp of the language, both listening to and writing. In addition to writing daily, I plan to study for at least a few minutes every day, and be more proficient in this language.

5. Get in better shape.  Yes, this is on my list once again. I thought I was on track last year, but an amazing amount of things conspired against me. This is going to be the year, as I’ve got a lot of good reasons to make it happen.

6. Get better organized. This shows up every year in my resolutions. I failed miserably last year, so this year I may be defining “better organized” a bit more loosely. Honestly, at this point, anything will be “better” than last year!

7. Have more sex. Last, but certainly not the least of my resolutions! This is something that should be fairly easy to do, and a pleasure to do at that.

I hope everyone has a happy and successful New Year – here’s to 2015!

1. What are you most afraid of?
Hmmm…that’s a tough one. When I was younger, I used to be terribly afraid of dying. I remember being 5 or so, terrified to go to sleep and not wake up, and afraid of the darkness, and endless nothingness. Now, I guess I’m most afraid of dying before I do the things I want to do, while I have the time and the health to do them.

2. Do you believe in life after death?
I don’t know, honestly. I’d like to think that this isn’t it, and that everything just…stops.

3. What is your purpose?
I don’t know if I’ve really found my purpose yet, but I’m searching for it.

4. Where are you going?
Sometimes I feel like I’m going nowhere, just spinning in circles. Other times I feel like I’m just beginning the journey of the rest of my life.

5. Do you fear hell? Why or why not?
No, I don’t fear hell. I don’t really believe in hell, and even if I did, I don’t think I’m a bad enough person that I would end up there.

6. Do you feel free?
No, I don’t. Maybe free in some ways, but not free at all in others.

Bonus: Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but people don’t point to their crotch when asking where is the bathroom?
Do people still look at their wrists for the time? Well, I suppose that’s going to be more frequent with the new watch that works with the new iPhone, but kids don’t understand the gesture at all.  Pointing at one’s crotch seems more like “fuck me” or “check out what I have down here” than “I have to pee”, though, so that may be why?
