You Can Take It With You

Sometimes you don’t need a behemoth of a vibrator to get you off.  You just want a little something small that packs a punch and can travel with you in your purse.  Pocket rockets tend to be small and portable, but if you dump your purse out onto the bathroom counter, it’s pretty clear what the pocket rocket is for.  But the Incognito Lipstick Vibe by Shaki Toys definitely fits the bill for being discreet.

The Lipstick Vibe is designed to look like a tube of lipstick.  Does it pass the test?  Take a look at the photo below, and see if you can guess which one it is.

Were you able to pick it out?  Did you have a difficult time?  That’s the idea.  Of the 4 people I showed this picture to, only 1 guessed right.

It’s actually the third one from the left.   Anyone would think it was lipstick if they saw this in your purse.  It also won’t turn on by accident, especially with the lid on.

The Lipstick Vibe comes packaged in a shiny cardboard box, with the inside of the tube displayed through a clear plastic window.  The box is decorated with pictures, front and back, of anime women.  The back of the box contains warranty information (it comes with a 90 day warranty), which is quite fascinating, and spells out that the warranty doesn’t cover acts of God (so if your Vibe gets hit by lightning, you’re out of luck) or if it’s used in any of 8 particular states.  If that was the case, I’d suggest going to a covered state and denying you ever used it elsewhere!

The Lipstick Vibe comes in three color choices: Purple case with red lipstick, black case with red lipstick, or silver case with pink lipstick.  I chose the black case.

The Vibe is about 3 3/4″ long, with a diameter of 7/8”.  It can be inserted about 1 3/4″, but it really works better when used externally on the clit.  The cap comes off to reveal what looks like 1/2″ of red lipstick sticking out of a silver inner lipstick tube.  This tube is about 1 ½” long.

The entire tube vibrates when turned on, although it’s more concentrated at the tip.  The tip is at about a 45 degree angle, 1/2″ long, and just under 1/2″ wide.

A small sticker towards the bottom of the silver inner tube shows the 3 positions for the vibrator.  Left is open, center is off, and right is on.  The base has a small silver arrow to indicate which of the positions you are on.  It’s easy to line up the arrow and label and put the vibe back together.

The Lipstick Vibe takes 1 AAA battery, which goes in negative side into the base, positive side into the tube.  There is a small O-ring in place between both parts.   The vibrations are pretty strong for just 1 battery.

The Lipstick Vibe is plastic, so it’s non-porous, latex free, and phthalates-free.  It should be washed with antibacterial liquid soap and water, and patted dry with a soft towel.  It’s not waterproof, so take care not to submerge it while cleaning it.  This vibrator can also be cleaned by wiping it with isopropyl alcohol.

Water-based, oil, or silicone lubricants can be used with this Vibe,  if needed.

It looks discreet, but does it sound discreet?  It depends where you’re planning on using it.  The vibrations are a bit louder than your cell phone on vibrate.  While this can sound very loud if you sneak off to use this in a public, multi stall office bathroom with all the metal and tile around, it’s not quite so noisy in a smaller bathroom setting, and can’t be heard outside the door.   It’s not too easy to hear in a bar bathroom or in a carped office with the door shut, either.

Overall, this is a fun little vibe that every girl should have in their purse for those occasions when you need to sneak away and get off.

I picked this up on my own dime, and you can too, at EdenFantasys.

Spread Some Holiday Vibrations and Cuteness With Santa Duckie!

When Babeland.com sent me this toy to review, I wasn’t sure what I would think.  The Santa Duckie vibrator is one of those toys that is almost too cute to use.  Almost.

From Big Teaze Toys, the Santa Duckie is another in their line of  I Rub My Duckie toys.  With his innocent face, red Santa hat accented in white, to his Santa outfit with white trim and black belt, Santa Duckie is travel sized and oh, so adorable!
Santa Duckie comes in a plastic cubed box, about 4 3/4″ on a side.   He is displayed inside a Christmas ornament inside the box.  The box is easy to open, and once you pull Santa Duckie out, the bottom of the box can be removed for instructions in 7 languages and battery insertion information.
The ornament comes ready to hang on the tree to surprise that special someone on Christmas morning.  This is clever Christmas packaging!
Santa Duckie can be removed from the ornament by untaping the ornament sides, and then unscrewing the cap on the top.  Once Santa Duckie is out of the ornament, the strings holding him to his plastic resting base must be cut so he’s free.
I was surprised at how hard Santa Duckie was.  Having never had an “I Rub My” anything, I was expecting him to be soft and squishy like his regular non-sextoy bathtub counterparts.  But Santa Duckie is hard and firm all over.  The better to rub you with, my dear!
Santa Duckie fits nicely in the palm of your hand.  He’s about 3 1/4″ long, and about 3” high.  He has a very, very light smell, and no taste right out of the box.
His battery compartment is on the bottom.  The compartment can be most easily accessed by using a dime to turn the lid, although it can also be opened with a file or your fingernail.   One AAA battery goes in negative side first, and then the lid can be reattached.  Make sure you have the lid on and closed before taking Santa Duckie in the water!
Above the battery compartment is another dial, which turns Santa Duckie on.  He only has one speed, but it’s pretty strong, and the vibrations fairly powerful.  The vibrations can be felt all over Santa Duckie, from the top of his head to the tip of his tail, and even on his belly.
While not overly noisy when on (about as loud as a vibrating cell phone), Santa Duckie becomes extremely loud if he’s held at angles due to how the battery fits in the compartment.  I tried him with a few different brands of batteries, and some brands were just a little larger and fit better in the compartment.  This made him much quieter than the slightly smaller batteries, which seemed to vibrate against the compartment walls quite loudly.  He’s a little louder in the water, but nothing that can’t be drowned out by some background music.

Santa Duckie is waterproof (I’d expect so!), and comes with a 90 day warranty.  He’s made of PVC, and is non-toxic, latex free, and phthalates free.  If necessary, water-based lubricants can be used to make him slip and slide.

Santa Duckie would be a great gift for that special someone this Christmas.  Or even for yourself.

Gimme A G!

I was recently accepted as a Cal Exotics Sexpert , and for my first review item I received the Spellbound “G” vibrator

The Spellbound comes packaged in an easy-open plasic case, displayed on one side.  It’s definitely a pretty vibrator, in a vibrant shade of purple.  It’s also available in orange and pink.  The material is ABS plastic with Velvet Cote, so it’s soft, smooth, and velvety to the touch, as well as non-porous and phthalates-free.
The Spellbound is 6 3/4” long, with a diameter of 1 1/4″.  It has an angled, thinner tip for g-spot stimulation.  About 3” down from the top is a 1/8” wide metal ring, that’s slightly raised from the surface.  The ring is supposed to provide advanced pleasure, but I didn’t notice it much.  It’s more decorative than functional.

The base of the Spellbound unscrews to hold 2 C batteries.  Yes, I said C batteries.  It’s been a long time since I had a toy that used anything larger than AA.  And I’ve kind of missed C batteries.  My very first vibrator, eons ago, had C, and it had so much more power than toys that used smaller ones!
A small instruction sheet is included with instructions for inserting the batteries, but for the Spellbound it’s not really needed.  Simply drop them in, screw the base back on, and you’re ready to play.
Between the base and the shaft is an O-ring, which makes the Spellbound ideal to play with in the shower or tub.  And I do love waterproof toys!  I had no problems with water getting into the battery compartment when it was submerged in the tub.

The Spellbound is controlled by a dial on the bottom of the base.  It’s not too easy to turn (and not too hard, either).  The vibration level can be dialed from low to quite high.  The vibrations are felt most in the tip, but travel well down the shaft of the Spellbound as well.   The dial is a bit tricky to turn if you’ve got lube on your hands, but you also won’t change the setting accidentally when holding the bottom to thrust.

When the vibration power is increased, so is the volume of this toy.  On the lowest vibration, it’s fairly quiet, but crank it up and if you’re in the kitchen, anyone in the house will think you’re making a smoothie in the blender.  Under water, the sound is amplified and it sounds like someone’s using a drill.  You will want to have the stereo or TV on at a decent level if you want to hide the fact that you’re tickling your g-spot!

The Spellbound can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water, or it can be wiped with toy cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.  Water-based, oil, or silicone lubes are all safe to use.

Overall, I like this toy quite a bit. The extra power from the C batteries is nice, and the tip hits where it needs to so I can orgasm.  It also feels great on my clit.  Note that this is not a toy to use anally, due to its lack of a flared base.

Thank you, Cal Exotics, for sending me this vibrator for free to review!

Vibrating and Rotating on Camera

The new rabbit-style vibrator I reviewed, that is.

I did another review, with video, for EdenFantasys.  This one is the “Bendi Clitifier Exotic Butterfly Arouser” from Cal Exotics.  What a name!

The videos to go with the reviews are a lot of fun to make.

Cold and Hot Weekend

This weekend was both cold and hot.

Cold because of the weather.  Snow, freezing rain, and winds all led to super cold weather.  It made me want to just curl up under a blanket and veg with the TV for 3 days.  With plenty of coffee.

Unfortunately, I had tons of errands to do, like grocery shopping.  Heaven forbid I’d think to go earlier in the week when the weather was still passably nice.

Hot because of the sex.  Well, our sex is usually pretty hot.  Lately it’s been getting a lot rougher as well, which adds something to the mix.  This weekend, though, we added one element that made it even hotter.

We filmed.

We hadn’t done that in ages, and I admit I was a bit nervous at first, but when it came down to it, there was nothing I could do about it Friday night.  Being tied down and all.

Afterwards we watched it.  Lots of slapping, and some good shots of what I can really fit inside.  My strongest reaction was wow, my ass is seriously red! My face wasn’t so bad – those handprints faded much faster.

It really came out good.

We filmed some on Saturday and Sunday as well.  Some bondage, lots of toy use and fucking.  And it was hot.  So hot, I imagine that’s on the agenda for this weekend as well.

I can’t wait.
