Kink Of The Week: Crops

I like crops. It was quite a while into our play before I ever tried one – before that my ass primarily got spanked with his hand, whether I was tied up or over his knee. I was curious about the crops (having tried and liked floggers and paddles) though, and since I was reviewing a lot of products at the time, I ended up with my first one.

My first crop wasn’t anything expensive or elaborate – it was actually kind of cute. It was made to go with a nurse theme, and it had a small, round, white end with a red cross on it. I dressed up the first night I wanted to use it (as a nurse of course), and it was a hit. Pardon the pun.

I have several other crops now, including a neat kit with interchangeable heads (including a small hand and foot), and two that are more standard, with the leather (or faux leather, as the case may be) in a small, flat loop.

We use a crop often when we’re playing. I like the small surface area they have, since it makes the sting more targeted. Usually he’ll use it when I’m on my knees or bound face down. I can handle it for a while, and then it stings….it can sting and hurt an incredible amount for me. I can handle the pain for a while, and then I just can’t anymore. He always stops when I ask (or in some cases shriek) to stop, and then my ass burns from the blows for some time afterwards. The marks tend to stay for quite a while as well.
