I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving today! I cooked my very first turkey, which was somewhat traumatic. I ended up hacking off something (still not sure what) from the bird, and then left on the neck (it didn’t want to be hacked off more than it already had been, apparently). I got the packet out, but untied the legs, and the wings were flopping all over the place as I tried to get it in the pan. Thankfully it came out well! I think it’s ham for Christmas…
I’m gearing up for a contest, too! Be on the lookout early next week – it’s going to have a pretty cool and holiday-themed prize. On that note, enjoy!
