Happy 2012!

Happy 2012!  I don’t know about you, but for me 2011 flew by.  I had a lot of plans last year, and I only accomplished some of what I set out to.

It’s time to make New Year’s resolutions, and this time try and keep them. Last year I resolved to have more sex, get better organized, eat healthier, wear more lingerie and collars, and get my own domain.

Did I succeed?

To having more sex, a big yes. Our sex life definitely ramped up this past year, and I had more sex (and more orgasms) than I ever thought possible. If I count solo sex in there too, I think I had sex for more hours than I slept. My libido’s going absolutely crazy, still, which isn’t a horrible thing, but I think I could fuck 24/7 and still not get enough.

To wearing more lingerie and collars, another yes. I didn’t buy that many new outfits, or collars for that matter, last year, but I wore them more often.

To eating healthier, yes and no. I went on and off my eating plan, and I really should know better. This year I’m going to get back in the groove and keep it up.

To getting my own domain, why yes, I did! I didn’t manage to write the posts I’d hoped to, and in fact most of my posts are reviews, but I redesigned a bit and got moved over,  which I think was a great start.

To getting better organized…well, at this point I’ll double over laughing. I don’t think I got worse, but I sure as hell didn’t improve. I don’t know why this is so hard for me to do, but it just didn’t happen.

So, to this year’s resolutions:

1. Continue having a lot of sex. Why not more? I don’t think I could if I tried, so I’d like to at least be at the same level.

2. Eat healthier. We started today (after, of course, having a last binge and fare-thee-well to all the crap last night), and I think if the two of us can stay committed all will be good.

3. Get better organized. This has become a staple on my resolution lists, but it’s got to happen. Ideally, I’ll catch up on reviews, get things in on time, and unclutter my house and my life so I’m not living in such chaos. Yeah, I know – good luck. I’ll need it!

4. Write more. I really miss writing. Sure, I write a lot of reviews, but I’ve neglected my other writing, whether that’s blog posts or short stories, or finally finishing the novel or two that I’ve got good progress on. I used to say I wanted to be the next Stephen King, and I’d really like to make that happen. I want to devote at least an hour a week, to start, and get back in the groove.

I hope this year is a success, and I manage to keep my short list of resolutions. I hope, if you make resolutions, that you’re able to keep them too.

Here’s wishing everyone health and happiness in 2012!
