I do love all kinds of vibrators, but the most useful for me are the clitoral ones. Internal vibes are great (whether vaginally or anally, honestly), but nothing is better than the crazy buzzing on my clit to get me off. This month, as part of the Cal Exotics Sexpert program, I was happy to get to review the Extreme Pure Gold Mini Scoop. Continue reading

I Just Want Your Extra Time and Your Kiss
Can a girl have enough vibrators? I can’t. I love trying out new ones to see if I’ll stumble upon a new favorite. As part of the Cal Exotics Sexpert program, I get to try a new one about every month, and this month I received the Sweetheart Vibe Pleasure Kiss to review.
The Pleasure Kiss comes in an easy to open plastic case. The toy is visible through the front, and the back (on the insert) has a picture of the product as well as information on the features and use. Inside the case is the vibrator and a small sheet on general battery insertion.
This vibrator is a medium pink color, the shade of bubble gum. It’s accented with a matte silver band above and around the buttons. The insertable portion and the buttons are made out of TPR, while the base is made of plastic. The vibrator has no smell or taste, and is hypoallergenic and phthalates-free. The tip and shaft are matte and have a bit of drag when you run your finger down them. A faint seam runs up the sides, but it’s barely visible and can’t be felt by either your finger or when in use.
The Pleasure Kiss is 8” long, with about 4 1/2″ insertable. The tip is curved for g-spot stimulation. On the underside of the tip is a pad about 1 1/4″ tall and 1” wide, which is slightly indented and filled with raised, soft nubs for extra stimulation. The shaft features 4 rings that stand out from the shaft for added stimulation during thrusting. At its widest, the shaft is 1 1/2″ in diameter, so it’s not too thin to be effective. The shaft is mostly firm, but has just a bit of flex to it. The tip also flexes, but not a lot.
The plastic base matches the shade of the TPR and has a shine to it, although the silver accents are dull. On the front are two heart shaped buttons. The top one, which is upside down, is the on/off button, and has the standard power logo in its center. The bottom button has a lightning bolt and allows you to cycle through the vibration patterns. Both buttons are easy to push. The bottom of the base has a curve and a hole that goes in it. While you can’t stand the Pleasure Kiss up, you could thread a rope or cord through the bottom if you wanted to hang this.
The battery compartment is accessed by twisting the bottom of the base about 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Two AA batteries go in + side first. There’s a clear plastic “tube” inserted in the compartment, which makes the Pleasure Kiss quiet, but also really holds on to the batteries. They aren’t hard to insert, but you’ll have to give it a few good whacks to get the batteries to protrude from the bottom so you can pull them out. The compartment seals fairly tightly, and keeps water out fine in the shower, but when used in the tub it didn’t keep water from getting into the battery compartment. Even though the packaging states waterproof, it’s really a splashproof vibe.
The Pleasure Kiss has 8 patterns of vibration, and interestingly, none of them are steady. This is one of the few vibrators I’ve ever had that didn’t have a steady mode. The patterns are:
– reverberation from low to high
– faster reverberation from low to high
– even faster reverberation from low to high
– a shakier, deeper reverberation from low to high
– fast pulse
– longer fast pulse
– three fast pulses followed by 1 long pulse
– five fast pulses followed by 1 long pulse
The vibrations are fairly deep and throbby, and they are also decently strong.
One really cool feature with this vibrator is that it has a memory chip. Find the pattern you like, and hate to cycle through to find it? No problem. The Pleasure Kiss will restart on the pattern it was on when you shut it off.
Since it’s made of TPR and plastic the Pleasure Kiss is phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free, and also semi-porous. It’s easy to clean with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner. If cleaned right after use, the nubbies aren’t hard to clean at all, but if you wait for any length of time they will be more difficult, and you may want to use a soft bristled brush to clean around them. If you plan on sharing or want to make cleanup easier, a condom can be used. I wouldn’t recommend using this anally due to the lack of flared base combined with the short insertable length. Both silicone and water-based lubricants are safe to use.
So, Did It Work? I like this vibe. While I don’t notice the rings around the shaft, I did feel the nubs on the tip when I was using it, and they felt great when stimulating my g-spot. The Pleasure Kiss was easy to hang on to during use, and I didn’t have any problems pressing the buttons by mistake. This was long enough to hit my g-spot effectively.
I love that this has a memory feature! I hate having to cycle through patterns when I find the one I really like, and it’s great to be able to turn this vibe on and go with the pattern I enjoy the most. There are actually two patterns I like the best on this vibe, the 3 short 1 long pattern, and the 5 short 1 long pattern. Both of them really do the trick for me. I would have preferred this had a steady vibration pattern as well, however, as sometimes I need them steady. I did think the strength was decent, and I liked how the vibrations were more throbby than buzzy. I also liked how quiet this one was.
I wish this actually was waterproof, as I’d love to use this in the tub. Submerging it for just a short time got water in the battery compartment, and while I didn’t damage it I’m not going to be trying that again. While it works fine in the shower since the base isn’t submerged, it’s too awkward to use as a g-spot vibrator standing up. It can be used in the shower for clitoral stimulation, but I have stronger shower toys for that and this works better internally than externally for me.
What I really don’t like is how hard it is to get the batteries out! The bottom one comes out with just one whack over my hand, but the top one really seats inside the vibrator, and it takes several whacks to get it low enough to get out.
Overall, this is a fun g-spot vibrator, and you’ll like it if you enjoy moderately strong vibrations, throbby vibrations, and different patterns to choose from, and you don’t need a steady vibration setting to get you off.
Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending this to me to review! If you’d like to try the Pleasure Kiss, you can pick it up from EdenFantasys by clicking here or on the widget below.

Party In the House
College. Sexual Experimentation. Freedom. Wild Parties. This is the stuff sorority house living and college campuses are made for (besides studying, of course), and the time when many young women try using a vibrator for the very first time. Shane’s World, which started the reality style of adult videos, is synonymous with crazy college partying and sex, and the brand also contains sex toys marketed through Cal Exotics. This month, as part of the Cal Exotics Sexpert program, I received the Shane’s World Sorority Party Vibe to review.
The Party Vibe comes in a clamshell case that’s easy to open, with the vibrator visible through both the front and back. The colorful insert contains product information, and inside the case is the vibrator and a small sheet with battery insertion details.
This is a simple traditional vibrator. It’s pretty, in a bright magenta color with silver accent band at the bottom which indicates the battery compartment separation. Made of Velvet Cote (ABS plastic with a PU coating), it’s smooth and satiny to the touch without any drag and has no smell or taste. The Party Vibe is 7 1/2” long with about 6” insertable and only 1” wide. It has a tapered tip to make insertion easier, and the tip also works well when used for clitoral stimulation. Since it doesn’t have a flared base, the Party Vibe should never be used anally.
The base unscrews to access the battery compartment. The Party Vibe takes 2 AA batteries, which should be inserted + side down. An O-ring sits below the threads to seal the battery compartment and make this suitable to use in the shower or bath.
This vibrator is easy to operate. A magenta colored tab sits up over the metal and is easy to turn the vibrations up and down with. The vibrations are strongest in the tip, but can also be felt well all down the shaft. They are steady and go from low to fairly high, strong, and quite buzzy. They are also fairly loud, although using the Party Vibe under a blanket muffles the sound, and it wouldn’t be heard from behind a closed door.
The Party Vibe is easy to clean before and after use with antibacterial soap and warm water. It can be dried with a soft towel. No storage bag is provided. The manufacturer recommends using a water-based lubricant.
So, Did It Work? This isn’t a bad little vibrator. It’s pretty basic in design and function without any bells and whistles, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. While the vibrations I didn’t find overwhelmingly strong, I did like using this for clitoral stimulation as it was easy to hold on to and the firmness of the material allowed me to get pressure on my clit. Internally it was all right, although a bit on the small side for me. I did like the tab that adjusted the vibrations. This made it easier to change the vibration level, particularly when my fingers were covered with lube.
Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending this to me to review as one of their Sexperts!

I’m In Heaven
I guess I’m a bit of a secret exhibitionist. Ever since I found my first wireless egg I’ve had a bit of secret fun wearing it out in public (and fun wearing it at home, too). My husband loves them for a few reasons: he has a remote (I swear he feels naked without a remote in his hand) and he loves to make me jump and be turned on in public without anyone knowing, whether it’s at dinner, the bar, or just grocery shopping (yeah, my eyes aren’t glazed over just because of the prices).
While I do love the wireless eggs, there’s one thing I’ve hated about them so far – the batteries. Every one I have uses a 12V battery in the remote (which isn’t a big deal), and N batteries in the bullet (which is). While the N batteries do last a decent amount of time, they’re a hassle to replace and they’re a lot more expensive than regular batteries. So when I found the Bliss on EdenFantasys, I was more than excited, I was practically orgasmic. Rechargeable? Wireless? I. Had. To. Have.
The Bliss is part of the Couture Collection from California Exotics. It comes in a cute white box with silver and purple lettering, and pictures of the bliss on the box, as well as some product information. The box is cleverly designed. Open it from the top and remove the egg and the charging base. Slide out the bottom to reveal a small box which is divided in half horizontally and contains the remote control, 12V battery, charging adapter with removable US plug, simple information on charging and using the egg, and a general multi language instructional booklet on care, battery use, and cleaning. What makes this small box nice is that it has a cutout on the top which will hold the charging station, while keeping the remote, spare batteries, and manuals (if you keep them) tucked away below.
The egg is fairly large, at 2 1/2″ long and 1 1/2″ in diameter at its widest point, but it’s not very heavy. It’s made of a periwinkle-colored PU coated plastic (it also comes in pink), so it has a soft, satiny feel. The egg has a 4 1/2″ nylon retrieval cord which is long enough so you don’t have to worry about the it getting lost inside. The cord loop may also be long enough to slip over your wrist if you want to control this for external clitoral stimulation as well (I wouldn’t recommend using this anally, however).
Bliss nestles easily in its heart-shaped charging base. It goes in nose down, and you don’t have to worry about making sure anything connects just right. It seems as if it’s magnetized a bit – the egg gently leaps into the charger, and, in fact, the charging light on the egg will come on before it’s even in the base. The light on the egg glows red while it’s charging, and turns green when it’s done, which takes about 2 hours. The instructions don’t list a maximum charging time. When charged and in use, the Bliss will run around an hour or more, depending on how obnoxious your partner is with the remote. If it’s not in use and turned off, it will hold its charge for up to 2 days.
The remote is small, the same lovely shade of periwinkle as the egg and charging base, and it’s made of the same satiny PU coated plastic. It has a dedicated on/off button and a larger button labeled 7, which cycles through the egg’s 7 functions and patterns. The buttons are different enough in size that you can feel which one you’re pressing with the remote in your pocket without taking it out to check, and it will control the egg from about 16 feet away. The battery is easy to insert in the back.
One thing to remember with the Bliss egg is that you have to turn it on before using the remote. If you forget, you’ll wonder if the batteries have gone dead in the remote or the egg has lost its charge.
The Bliss is easy to activate. Simply press the button for about 2 seconds until the light flashes green. The light will continue to flash green every few seconds. Once the Bliss is on, you’re ready to insert it and have some fun.
Turn it on by pressing the on/off button on the remote, and the Bliss will begin vibrating on its lowest level. Pressing the 7 button cycles through the following settings:
– low and steady (the initial speed)
– medium and steady
– high and steady
– escalation
– pulsation
– faster pulsation
– escalating pulsation (3 short and 1 long pulse)
The vibrations are all fairly surface vibrations, and quite buzzy. They are fairly strong, although not earth shaking. But, with a vibrator like this, I wouldn’t want them to be. I don’t want to fall to my knees in the grocery store or at the club after five or ten minutes – I want to be teased and tantalized until I can’t take it anymore and really have to exercise self control or beg for mercy.
While the Bliss sounds loud externally, when inserted it’s actually very quiet. With any kind of background noise no one will know that you’re vibrating inside. The Bliss can be turned off and placed in standby mode, by pressing the button for a few seconds. It will flash red and then go out.
The egg is waterproof, so it can be used in the shower or bath. It’s easy to clean with antibacterial soap and water, or you can use a toy cleaner. It can be dried with a soft towel. The charging base can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary. Both water-based and silicone lubes are safe to use.
So, Did it Work? I really, really like this one! The shape is nice – not too large and not too small – and it stays in place well. It stays comfortable when used in conjunction with an anal plug, although a smaller plug feels better when the Bliss is in.
The vibrations are moderate to strong, and they immensely turn me on. I couldn’t handle them stronger and wear this for long periods of time. This isn’t a quick orgasm-inducing toy, but rather one that warms me up and teases me. While the lowest speed doesn’t do much for me, the faster ones really get me going, and the pulse patterns are really distracting (as they are meant to be). I don’t tune the Bliss out when it’s on one of these patterns, and I find it hard to focus completely. After a while, I find myself asking (nicely) for my husband to turn it off or cycle to another pattern because I’m getting way too aroused in public.
The remote works well, and it’s small enough for my husband to slip it in his pocket. He didn’t have trouble accidentally changing the buttons, and he was able to tell by feel which button to press. He was also able to change the patterns successfully from a ways away (roughly 15 feet). He couldn’t hear it at all when standing next to me, even when it was on the highest setting, when we just had supermarket sounds for background noise. I think the remote is his favorite part of the Bliss. Well, maybe his second favorite – he gets such a kick out of having me have this in, whether we’re out and about or at home.
Now, if only the remote could be rechargeable as well, this would truly be the perfect wireless egg!
Thank you to EdenFantasys for sending this to me to review! If you’d like to experience the fun and pleasure of a wireless egg (and a rechargeable one to boot), you can check out my video for the Bliss here, and purchase yours from EdenFantasys by clicking the widget below.

Watch It Squiggle, See Me Wiggle…
If you’ve ever read any of my reviews, you’ll find that while I use thinner toys on occasion I much prefer ones that have a bit of girth. I also typically prefer silicone or other non-porous materials, mostly because of the horrid smell that so many of the rubber ones have. So I was intrigued, but a bit leery, when I received the Sassy Swirl Squiggle to review as part of the Cal Exotics Sexpert program.
The Sassy Swirl Squiggle, which from here on in I’ll just call the Squiggle, comes in an easy to open clamshell case with an insert providing some product details. It looks pretty impressive in the package, and you can tell it’s got a good size.
The Squiggle is made of phthalates-free PVC (with an ABS cap). Normally with PVC toys the smell assaults my nose even before I open the package, but with the Squiggle it’s different. It does have a smell, but it’s very faint. I could smell the slight rubber scent when I put it up under my nose, but a foot or more away and I couldn’t smell it at all. This made me pretty happy! After a few washes and dries the scent remained, but I found it to be light enough to not be bothersome in the least.
The Squiggle is a pretty, translucent purple in color. It’s soft and a bit squishy on the surface but with a firm inner core. It has pretty swirls that run down the body. Through the PVC you can see the white vertebrae of the core through the center of the shaft. These vertebrae are flexible and allow you to bend the shaft at an angle for optimal stimulation. It doesn’t have an extreme bend – I’d say around 45 degrees or so, but it’s enough of a bend to get the head at just the angle you like.
This is a nice sized vibrator. It’s 8 1/2″ long, with 6 1/2” insertable. Its 1 3/4″ diameter is a pleasant, filling size. The head has a slight curve for g-spot stimulation, and it’s firm enough to me the pressure I need to climax. It’s also waterproof, so it’s safe to take into the shower or bath (although it’s much easier to use in the tub).
The Squiggle takes 3 AAA batteries, which are inserted by twisting off the unusually shaped cap. A battery holder slides out, and the batteries are both easy to insert and remove. You have to be careful how you put this holder back in to the vibrator, however. There are 3 arrows on the holder, which indicate which end must go in first. In addition, the metal on the end must come into contact with the metal that runs inside the compartment. If it doesn’t, the Squiggle won’t turn on. Once you have these correct, you’re ready to play.
The bottom of the cap has an elongated button with two touch points. The one point is indicated by a raised nub: this turns the toy on and also cycles through the functions. Pressing the other end of this button, where it is smooth and flat, will turn the Squiggle off. The bottom around and under the button glows with an orange LED light in tempo to the pattern you have the Squiggle on.
Is it tricky to get the right button pressed during use? At first yes, but after you’ve tried this a few times you’ll be able to easily finger the nubbed button for pattern changes. If your finger is pretty slick with lube, however, it’ll be a bit trickier.
One of the coolest things about the Squiggle is that it has a memory chip (which I’ve only seen on a few toys, but I love, love, love it!), so it turns back on at the last setting you had. This is a great feature, and allows you to keep the Squiggle on your preferred setting every time.
The Squiggle has 10 patterns, which are:
– super fast pulses followed by a longer fast pulse
– fast pulses
– stronger fast pulses
– very fast pulses
– lower pulses
– longer pulses
– low fast pulses
– steady high
– steady med
– steady low
The vibrations are concentrated in the tip of the Squiggle, but they can be felt about halfway down the shaft. They are fairly throbby and strong, and also pretty quiet. The Squiggle won’t be heard under the covers or behind a closed door.
The Squiggle is easy to clean both before and after use with warm water and antibacterial soap. It can be patted dry and stored away in either it’s packaging or a simple storage bag. Since it’s PVC, both water-based and silicone lubricants are safe to use.
So, Did It Work? I really like this vibrator. The size and texture are great, and I love the overall design. I was originally skeptical of it being made of PVC, but it’s both phthalates free and virtually odorless which are big pluses to me. I also love the flexible neck. It allows me to bend this and get the head and tip angled just right for the g-spot orgasms I’m cumming to love more and more.
The vibrations are pretty strong and throbby, and they can be felt nicely inside. They really feel good in the tip, and are strong enough to allow me to orgasm. I love, love love (can I say that enough times?) the memory feature. I tend to be a mostly one or two pattern girl, and I hate having toys with a lot of functions where I have to cycle forever to get to the one I want. With the Squiggle, I don’t have to do this – I can just turn it off when I’m done and turn it on next time right at the pattern I want.
One thing I would have liked is a way to cycle back and forth through the patterns. Especially with 10 of them, that’s a lot to go through to get back to the one you want if you’re playing around and trying other patterns.
Overall, the Sassy Swirl Squiggle (try saying that 10 times fast) is a good vibrator. It has the size, the length, the bending, the strength, the patterns, and the memory feature to make picking this one up a good choice. It’s one that I’m glad to add to my collection!
