Billy, Do Be My Hero

I love my Lelo toys, in particular the vibrating ones (Mona and Mia come to mind), although Bob and I have become very good friends. All but Bob are meant for vaginal and clitoral stimulation, and while I love Bob, there are times I want a powerful vibrator in my ass. Billy is an anal vibrator, and since Lelo toys have the strong vibrations I crave, I picked him up from EdenFantasys to try.

Billy comes in the standard Lelo packaging, with a picture of him on the front and product information on the sides. Inside the outer sleeve is the classic black Lelo box, which contains Billy, the charger, a white satin bag for storage, a user manual, and information on the Lelo guarantees.

The names of the Lelo toys I find interesting. Toys for women (clitoral and vaginal) are graced with feminine monikers, while the toys for men (anal) are given masculine names. It is a great way to know where your Lelo should be used, but it always amuses e a little bit.

I chose to get Billy in blue (he also comes in burgundy), and he’s a deep, rich navy – almost black, which contrasts nicely with his shiny white plastic base. He’s smooth and soft to the touch without any drag to his completely seamless surface. Billy’s insertable portion is made of silicone, so he’s nonporous and phthalates free. While he can’t be sterilized, he’s easy to clean with warm water and antibacterial soap. The base and control pad should be carefully cleaned, and take care not to get water in the jack hole in the base. If you do, make sure to blow it out and wait till it’s completely dry before recharging Billy.

Billy can be stored in the provided satin bag, or you can store him in his original box. He works great with water-based lubricants – if you do want to use a silicone lubricant, be sure to do a patch test first. If you don’t, you could cause his surface to become permanently tacky.

Billy’s design is similar to Lelo’s Liv, with the exception of the ring between the his insertable portion and his base. This ring sticks out on the sides and bottom to keep Billy from sliding all the way into your ass. He’s 6 1/2″ long, and 4” insertable, with a modest 1 1/8” diameter. He’s slightly curved for prostate stimulation, but don’t worry: if you don’t have a prostate he still feels great anally. He’s slightly tapered towards the ring.

Billy is rechargeable, so you never have to hunt for batteries. You do, however, have to remember to charge him. Once the plug is inserted into the jack hole, the LED light behind the control buttons will pulse blue, letting you know Billy’s charging. After about 2 hours, Billy will be fully charged and the LED will glow steadily. When Billy’s power is running low, the LED will glow red. Like the other Lelo toys, Billy can be overcharged, so never charge him for more than 24 hours. He can be used for up to 4 hours on a single charge, and he’ll hold a charge when not in use for up to 90 days.

To turn Billy on (prior to turning on yourself), press and hold the + area on the control pad until he starts vibrating at a low speed. Pressing it again, or holding it down, will increase his steady vibrations to a strong, powerful, throbbing level. When you’re done playing with Billy, pressing and holding the – button will decrease the vibrations and then turn Billy off.

But wait – there’s more to Billy than just steady vibration! Billy also has 4 other vibration modes. These modes can be cycled through by pressing the up and down arrows on the control pad. You can adjust the vibration intensity on each level as well by pressing the + and -. Billy’s modes are pulsing, fast pulsing, really fast pulsing, and a rev from low to high.

The vibrations are felt most strongly in the tip, although they can be felt down Billy’s shaft nicely. They are strong, especially on the higher settings, and more throbby than buzzy.  He’s also very quiet – not quite as loud as my cell phone on vibrate.

Billy’s great to travel with. He features a locking mode to prevent him from turning on by accident in your bag or suitcase. Pressing on the center of the dial and holding for 5 seconds will flash the LED behind the buttons and lock Billy. To unlock, press for 5 seconds again or charge him.

So, Does He Work? I love Billy. He’s a small diameter, but that means he slips in easily when lubed up and I don’t have to use another toy to prep for him. He feels good when inserted and held in place, but he’s also nice to thrust with. His vibrations are strong, but I actually like his patterns better – particularly the fast pulsing pattern– they remind me that he’s there and they really work to get me off. Coupled with a clitoral vibrator and a vaginal toy, he makes me cum hard and cum fast. And that’s not a bad thing at all.

If there’s one thing I wish, it’s that Billy had a remote control for the functions. I find it a bit awkward to change the intensity or pattern by myself (although my husband is always willing to lend a hand). When alone, I typically start him up to my favorite setting and use him at that level most of the time.

Billy is another phenomenal vibrating product from Lelo, and definitely worth getting, especially if you like strong anal vibrations and a not-so-large size. I purchased mine at EdenFantasys, and you can get one too by clicking the widget below.

What About Bob?

I’ve tried a lot of Lelo products, with mixed results. I moan for Mona, but Ina exasperates me. Mia is the cat’s meow, while Gigi is moderately enjoyable. Billy is the bomb. But, what about Bob? Here was a plug that looked simple yet intriguing, and I was thrilled when Babeland.com sent this to me for review.

Bob arrives in the standard Lelo packaging. The outer box is black, and imprinted with Lelo Homme on the front. The sides and back give some information about the product. Inside is the black Lelo box which contains Bob, a white satin storage pouch, an instruction manual and small pamphlets about Lelo’s 1 year and 10 year guarantees.

So, what about Bob? I requested Bob in navy, and he’s a beautiful deep matte blue, soft and smooth to the touch with very little drag. Bob is small, just 5” long overall, gently curved, with an insertable length of 3 1/2″. He is just 1” in diameter at his widest point. His tip is gently pointed, and after ballooning to this maximum at about 1 3/4″ down his body, Bob narrows into just 3/8” on his neck. Bob is firm, but his neck is very flexible.

Below the neck, Bob sports a ring about 1 1/4″ in diameter. The ring is almost 1” wide inside, and large enough to slip a finger through to control Bob and also allow for easy insertion and removal.

Bob is designed to be a prostate massager, but he works just fine if you don’t have a prostate. He’s easy to insert and feels filling, even with his small diameter. He stays in place and doesn’t slip out due to the narrowness of his neck, and his base (handle) fits comfortably between butt cheeks and makes him suitable to wear for extended periods of time, whether in or out of the house.

Bob is made of silicone, so he’s scentless, phthalates free and nonporous. He’s easy to clean with warm water and antibacterial soap, and he can also be boiled on the stove or run through the dishwasher on the top rack to sanitize him. Since Bob is silicone, only water-based lubricants are safe to use. He can be stored in his storage bag or in the box he comes in.

So, did Bob work?
I am so glad I got Bob, and wish I would have found him sooner! I love his size – he’s easy to insert and a great way to prep for something larger. His handle makes him comfortable to wear for extended periods, and he’s not noticeable under tight pants. The way his neck narrows also keeps him from falling out when I wear him out under a skirt.

I love Bob’s handle ring. It helps some in insertion, but makes him a lot easier to remove than grasping a flat base. It’s also useful for my husband, who can slip a finger through and gently tug on Bob, which feels oh so good.

Bob is a wonderful plug, and a great one to consider if you’re looking for a small, yet effective, and comfortable anal toy. Thank you to Babeland.com for sending him to me for free to review! If you’d like to experience Bob for yourself, you can buy him at Babeland.com . You won’t regret it!

Giant Crayons Can Be Fun!

I love anal play. And while I don’t have too much trouble going up 1/4” to a 1 1/2” diameter with a plug, sometimes this is too much when I want to use a dildo. The in between size can be hard to track down. I had a toy ages ago that was the perfect size, but I hated the jelly material. So I was excited when I found the Platinum Silicone Tool at EdenFantasys – the toy I used to have, but new and improved!

The Tool comes in a blue and black box with the toy visible through the front window. The back of the box has some product information, and warranty info and product registration can be done on the Doc Johnson site.

The dildo itself is a beautiful shade of cornflower blue (like the crayon)– soft and shimmery and a bit sparkly. In fact it even resembles a giant crayon without its label. The surface is matte with a bit of drag to the touch, and completely seamless.

Firm enough for insertion, the Tool is also flexible enough to be bent in half and is squishy but not tacky to the touch. It’s a bit too flexible for hard thrusting but it works well for more gentle action.

The Tool is 7” long, with 6” being insertable. The tip of the Tool is blunt and only 5/8” wide. It tapers out to the maximum shaft width of 1 3/8”. The base widens in 2 stages, up to a maximum of 2” diameter across the bottom of the toy. It’s suitable for both vaginal and anal play, but if you plan to use it both ways a condom should be used.

Made of silicone, the Tool has no scent, and it’s non-porous, latex-free and hypoallergenic. The surface does tend to pick up lint, stray hair, and other materials easily, so it should be cleaned both before and after use with antibacterial soap and warm water. You can also run this through the dishwasher on the top rack or boil it on the stove to sanitize it. Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

So, Did It Work? I really like the Tool for an anal dildo. It allows me to go up in size more gradually during anal play and is much more comfortable than going straight from 1 1/4″ to 1 1/2″. The tip is easy to insert, and I love the flexibility and overall squishiness of this toy. While I wish it was just a bit firmer, it’s firm enough to gently thrust with, and it’s a good warm-up to a larger size.

My partner liked the size of the base on the Tool, and he found it easy to hold on to while using this on me. We also thought this might be a good toy to use in the Liberator Wing. It didn’t work too well when trying to slide it between the cover and the Wing body, but it was flexible enough to set on top of the Wing and use for double penetration.

The Tool is a great tool for anal play, and reasonably priced. I got mine at EdenFantasys, and you’d like to try it out, you can purchase your Tool from them by clicking the widget below.

Give Yourself the Royal Treatment

A while ago I tried out the Tantus Infinity plug, which I really enjoyed. It was more comfortable to insert and use than I had expected. I wanted to try something a bit larger and saw the companion piece, the Tantus Infinity Royal, so I picked this one up to see if larger would be better.

The Infinity Royal also comes in simple packaging – a plastic bag with some information on a cardboard piece stapled to the top. I picked this one in pink as well (it also comes in purple and black). The surface is smooth but not shiny and has a bit of a drag. It’s made of silicone so it’s flexible yet firm.

I have to say that the Royal looks a lot more intimidating than its smaller cousin in person. At 5” long and 1 1/2″ wide, it’s 3/4″ longer and 1/4″ wider. This doesn’t sound like a lot, but as I’ve learned with sex toys, even 1/8″ can make a huge difference in dimensions.

The Royal bulges shaped a bit like eggs. Both are 1 1/2″ long and 1 1/2″ in diameter. They sit atop one another, and narrow to 1 1/4″ between them. The neck is only 1” wide, which helps keep the Royal in place once it’s inserted.

The base on the Royal is 3” long. At each end it’s 1 7/8” wide and it narrows to 1 3/8” in the middle. Because it’s so wide, the Royal is not the most comfortable plug to wear out and about. It’s fine for short periods, however.

This plug is made of silicone, so it doesn’t have any smell or taste. It’s phthalates free and non-porous and easy to take care of. You can wash the Royal with antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner. You can also run this through the dishwasher or boil it in a pan of water on the stove. It’s best to use a condom if you plan to share this, and you should only use water-based lubricants. The Royal should be stored standing upright on its base and not touching other toys.

So, Did It Work? After having tried the smaller version of this plug, I wasn’t worried about it being comfortable to insert. What I was mainly worried about was being able to insert this easily due to its size.

I had to use a few warm-up toys first before I was able to use the Royal. Once I was ready, the Royal was also. I knew what to expect from the Infinity, and both the first and second bulges went in fairly easily. Internally it was comfortable, and I really liked the way the two bulges felt. Externally the width of the base made me feel like my butt was being spread apart. This was a manageable feeling in the house, but definitely not one I’d want while out in public.

The Royal stayed in place well and didn’t interfere much with toy use, although my husband could feel it during penetration. It stayed in well for me during orgasm and only popped out once. I didn’t have too much trouble removing it either, although it was a bit more difficult than the Infinity

This is a pretty good plug: comfortable, filling, and nicely designed. The only thing I wish is that the base wasn’t quite so wide so it was wearable for longer periods of time. If you’d like to try the Tantus Infinity Royal for yourself, you can buy it at Tantus by clicking on the widget below.

To Infinity and Beyond!

Recently I went through my anal toy collection and realized that while I have a lot of metal, glass, and even some wood plugs, I didn’t have a lot of silicone ones. I’d been contemplating the Tantus Infinity plug  for a while, although the shape kept giving me pause. I finally decided I had to get this one and give it a try.

The Infinity comes in simple, minimal packaging. The plug doesn’t look nearly as intimidating in person as it does online. It’s petite, and only 4 1/4″ long with 3 3/4″ insertable. It comes in 3 colors – I chose the pink (I know, I chose pink, right?) and it’s a pretty, bubblegum shade. The surface is matte and has just a bit of drag to it, but it’s not sticky or tacky. It’s flexible and soft without being too soft.

This plug looks a bit like an infinity symbol on a base. The curves are soft and gentle. Each bulge is about 1 1/4″ long, and has a maximum width of 1 1/4″. The top bulge isn’t tapered at all, but rounded. The neck narrows to a nice 3/4″ before connecting to the 2 1/2″ base. The narrowness of the neck helps to keep the plug inside.

The Infinity’s flat base goes from 1 1/2″ wide and narrows to 1 1/8” in the center for more comfortable wear, although it’s not nearly as comfortable for extended wear as ones that are thinner in the middle.

The Infinity plug is made of silicone, so it’s non-porous and phthalates free. It also has no smell or taste, and doesn’t hold on to any scents when cleaned. It’s easy to clean with warm water and antibacterial soap, or you can run it through the dishwasher on the top rack or boil it on the stove to sanitize it. Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

So, Did It Work? My biggest concern with this plug wasn’t the width but the size of the first bump and the lack of a tapered tip. With plenty of lube, I found that inserting it wasn’t nearly as hard or uncomfortable as I expected. The shape and gentle roundness of the bulbs allowed me to get the first bulge in without too much trouble. After waiting a bit to get used to the feel, the second bulb was no problem.

The base narrows in the middle, although it was still a bit wide for me to comfortably wear this out. It wasn’t bad for short times, though, and I didn’t have any problems with it popping out by walking or moving around the house.

The base size didn’t interfere with penetration in any way, and the Infinity stayed put pretty well, except during orgasm. I had trouble with it popping out when nothing was pressed into the base to hold it in place then, although it just took light pressure to keep it in place. The Infinity wasn’t difficult to remove when done, either.

While I preferred leaving this in place for the sensation of fullness, my husband also tried gently thrusting with it. It worked better than expected this way.

This really is a nice plug, and I’m glad I decided to give this a shot. If you’d like to buy one and try the Infinity plug for yourself, you can pick one up at Tantus by clicking the widget below.
