Wicked Wednesday: Nothing Really Matters

Nothing really matters,
I’m not sure if that’s true.
Each breath I take, each sight I see,
brings depth and soul and hue.

The air is deep around me,
the sun is in my eyes,
the more that I inhale the world
I come to realize
you’re in my life, you’re in my soul,
my breath, my blood, my sweat,
in the fiber of my being
from the moment that we met.

Without you I would wither
but with you I am strong
to feel your strength, to taste your kiss,
with you I do belong.

To me you deeply matter
and I know it isn’t wrong.
