Pleasure Tape from PipeDream’s Fetish Fantasy Series is a fun product. It comes in an easy to open package, and looks like a roll of duct tape. The roll is about 4” in diameter, with an opening of 3”. It’s the perfect size to use on a packaging tape dispenser. This makes it convenient to dispense and cut as needed. Of course, you can always cut it with scissors to the desired length.
The tape is 2” wide, and there’s about 65 feet on the roll, which is ample to tape your partner many times over. It’s made of PVC, so it’s water resistant and holds up fairly well to stretching and pulling without ripping or tearing. The tape I received is a vibrant red color, but it also comes in black.
The tape sticks only to itself. It won’t stick to skin or hair, so it can be removed cleanly and easily, but wind it about your partner’s arms or legs, and it will stay in place and restrain their struggling. The tape is reusable, but it can be tricky to re-roll straight back onto the roll. It will flatten and smooth fairly well when reused.
Don’t worry about getting lube on the tape. Water and silicone lubes won’t harm it, and the tape can be wiped off with water to clean it.
You can bind just about anything with this tape, and get creative. You don’t have to just wrap it around your partner’s ankles – you can wrap their legs together up to the knees or thighs. You can even wrap their arms together to the elbows in certain positions, or their arms to their sides. The tape can be used to bind breasts to the body, and you can even make “clothes” like bra or skirt depending on how you wrap it. The tape can also be used to gag or blindfold your partner.
You should take some precautions when using Pleasure Tape. First and foremost, make sure you have a pair of scissors handy so the tape can be cut off if a quick release is necessary. Don’t bind so tightly that you cut off your partner’s circulation. While you can use the tape as a gag, never cover your partner’s mouth and nose together.
We had a lot of fun with this. While we do have standard cuffs, this made for some very different and erotic experiences. While I would have been content to cut it with scissors, my partner preferred using the tape dispenser. I think he liked wrapping me up like a package.
