Kink Of The Week: Pigtails

I like pigtails. Even when I was younger, I had very long hair, almost down to my waist at times. I used to like to wear them high, so they’d fall down past my ears and below my shoulders. I had colored bands, some with balls on them, and lots of hair ribbons to match. Getting the part straight was sometimes tricky, but I could do it with a mirror. The first time I went to Disneyland, Goofy even held up my pigtail against his ear to see which was longer.

When I got older, I typically wore a pony tail instead, sometimes high up and sometimes low on the nape of my neck. Pony tails were just easier to manage, since I didn’t have to worry about getting that straight part down the middle. I could whip one in with just a rubber band, or even flip it through my own hair into a knot if necessary. If I’m not wearing my hair long, it depends on how much time I have as to which way I’ll do my hair.

I think pigtails are cute, but I don’t find them particularly sexual. They don’t turn me on to see or even to wear – they’re just another hairstyle for me, albeit one that makes me feel younger. I have done my hair up like this if I’m sporting a schoolgirl or cheerleader costume for sexual play, and my partner appreciates it, but I don’t think it’s the pigtails themselves that are turning him on.
