Bubbles of Fun!

I love Fun Factory toys. Especially their rechargeable ones. So when Babeland offered to send me the Fun Factory Bubbles vibrator to review, I was ecstatic.

The Bubbles vibrator is part of the new mini-line, which features Click and Charge technology. This vibrator comes packaged in the standard grey and red Fun Factory box, visible through the front. Product information is on the back, and an instruction pamphlet is included. This looked so cute in the window, I couldn’t wait to get it in my hands!

This vibrator is adorable (does that sound strange to call a vibrator?) with four pink bubbles squished together atop a black plastic base (it also comes in blue). It looks a bit like a caterpillar, although without the Fun Factory face. It’s super soft and squishy and fun to play with. It’s made of 100% silicone, so it’s body safe, phthalates-free, latex free, and hypoallergenic. The texture has a bit of a drag to it, and it’s fun just to hold and squeeze the toy.

This vibrator is small. It’s just 5 1/2” long, with 4” of insertable length. The bubbles are 1 1/2″ wide at their widest point and flexible. The bubbles form a gentle curve, which is great for g-spot stimulation (but this vibrator should NOT be used anally). These bubbles sit atop the black base, which says “Fun” on the bottom. This is where the charger is connected.

The charger, which comes in a separate box, is a simple magnetic charger, with 2 points of contact for the vibrator. This charger is compatible with all the new Click and Charge Fun Factory toys. The rechargeable battery is a lithium polymer, and can be recharged at any time, so you don’t have to wait for the Bubbles vibrator to be completely discharged before powering it up again.

The Bubbles vibrator must be charged for 6 hours before first use (later charges should be considerably less). The 2 “Fun” logos must be placed completely on top of each other. When it’s a steady red, the Bubbles is ready for use. The charger snaps right on, but it’s a bit easy to dislodge, so you’ll want to make sure you’re charging this in a location where nothing will bump the charger or toy. You’ll know it’s charging since the logo pulses red while it’s gathering power. The charger can’t be connected during use – the vibrator will switch off if it’s connected.

The Bubbles vibrator is easy to operate. Two touch buttons are located on the front bottom of the silicone, and all you can see is the + and – sign where they are. To turn the vibrator on, press and hold the + button for 2 seconds. It will start on it’s lowest vibration, which is incredibly low and steady. Pressing + repeatedly about 3 more times will boost the Bubble’s power to it’s maximum vibration speed, which is quite strong and rumbly, although very quiet.

The vibration patterns can be accessed when the Bubbles is on high by pressing the + button again. The patterns that it cycles through are: long pulses, medium pulses, and fast pulses. The patterns keep cycling with a press of the + button: pressing – takes the vibrations back to steady on the highest setting.

The Bubbles vibrator doesn’t have a dedicated off button. To turn off, simply press and hold the – button until the vibrator stops. At full power, the Bubbles will operate for 1 hour before it needs to be recharged.

This vibrator is easy to clean. It should be cleaned both before and after each use with a mild soap and water and patted dry. It can be stored in its box. Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

If you travel with the Bubbles, temperature changes can cause condensation on the vibrator, and you should wait a few hours before charging or using. The vibrator shouldn’t come into contact with metal surfaces, which can cause a short circuit. You should also keep credit cards or cards with magnetic strips away from this toy and its charger.

This vibrator is completely waterproof, so it can be used in the tub or shower as well as the bed.

So, Does It Work? I really enjoyed this vibrator. While the low speed did nothing for me – I could barely feel it – the high speed was wonderfully strong. The pulse patterns were nice to alternate with the high speed. It worked well both on my clit as well as internally. I could hit my g-spot with this vibrator, but it was a bit tricky to manipulate and thrust due to its short length. I did find that I had to use a lot of lubricant with this one, but once I did it was slick and comfortable. This was fun to use in the bath as well, although I didn’t like it in the shower due to its short length.

I found it did keep its charge about an hour, and it was pretty easy to recharge. It took the Bubbles about 3 hours to charge up when I completely drained the batteries.

Overall, I’d recommend the Bubbles vibrator from Fun Factory. It’s quite a bit of fun!

BCurious: BExcited, BSatisfied, BHappy!

After reading a lot of reviews of the Bswish Bcurious, both positive and negative, I was immensely curious about it. They say curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back, dontcha know.  It looked intriguing and I love rechargeable toys, so when Babeland offered this up for review, I jumped at the chance to try it out.

The Bcurious comes in a black box, with fuschia accents. The front has a picture of a woman and mentions some of the functions, while the back has some information in several languages.

Inside the box, the Bcurious rests on a black plastic tray. It looks lovely and intriguing, and I couldn’t wait to try it out.

Under the tray, the box also contains a black storage pouch, small manual with basic instructions, wall adapter, and…

…a USB cord!!

Yes, I said USB! Finally, another toy that can be charged by plugging it into your computer! Ever since I had my first USB chargeable toy, I’ve been hoping to find another. And the Bcurious is the second I’ve found! In case you don’t have your computer handy or prefer a wall outlet, the adapter allows you to plug this right into the wall. This makes me very, very happy.

The Bcurious is beautiful. It’s mostly black silicone, with a plastic fuschia strip that runs around the sides and fuschia trim around the button pad. It’s 4 1/4″ long from top to bottom, and 1 1/2″ wide at its widest point. The silicone is smooth and silky to the touch. The fuschia strip doesn’t lay flat into the silicone, but rather causes a noticeable ridge. While you can feel it, it’s smooth and I didn’t notice it during use.

This vibrator is firm and inflexible, except for the button pad. This pad has 2 buttons, with the Bswish logo in between. The bottom button turns the Bcurious on and off, and the top button changes the vibrations.

The Bcurious comes charged so it can be used right away (shout Halleluiah from the rooftops!) When the lithium-polymer battery needs to be charged, simply lift the flap on its side and gently press in the rounded small end of the cord. Then plug the USB side into either your computer’s available USB port, or into the wall adapter and the wall.

When charging, the Bcurious flashes blue around the control panel. After 2 hours, when fully charged, the light glows steady. The Bcurious can be used up to 2 hours on a single charge, and will retain its charge for up to 60 days when not in use. It shouldn’t be used when it’s charging, and it shouldn’t be charged for more than 24 hours to avoid damage to the battery.

To turn on the Bcurious, press the lower button once. This will backlight the control pad in blue LED. Pressing the top button will start the vibrations, which are:

  • Low and steady
  • Medium and steady
  • High and steady
  • Throbby low to high reverberation
  • Medium pulse
  • Fast pulse
  • 3 short pulses followed by 1 long pulse

The backlight will stay on until the off button is pressed.

The vibrations of the Bcurious are decently strong, and are throbby, deep vibrations, as opposed to shallow surface vibrations. They are concentrated in the tip, although they can be felt nicely down the body, so your labia will also be stimulated in addition to your clit. The Bcurious is a bit loud, but it’s not as loud when it’s in use and pressed hard against your clit. It’s waterproof as well, so it can be enjoyed in the shower or bath.

The Bcurious is made of plastic and silicone, so it’s non-porous and phthalates free. It’s also hypo-allergenic, latex-free, and food grade material. It can be cleaned by washing it with antibacterial soap and warm water, or you can use your favorite toy cleaner. Only a water-based lubricant should be used.

It’s also waterproof, so you can have fun with this in the shower or bath as well as the bedroom.  Just make sure that if any water gets in the plug to let it thoroughly dry out before charging.

So, Does it Work? Yes! While it’s not the strongest clitoral vibrator I’ve used, it is pretty powerful.  The vibration patterns are nice, particularly the high and steady and the fast pulse.  I love the fact that it’s hard, and I can really press it into my clit to get to orgasm.   It doesn’t get me off fast, but it’s very pleasurable to use, either alone, with other toys, or with my partner.

Bcurious.  You’ll be glad you were!

Rock & Roll All Night!

I’m all about hands-free stimulation. There’s nothing better when you just want to rock yourself to orgasm, or when you’re tied up to not have to worry about holding something in place. I have a terrible time with strap-on toys, but I really enjoy toys that can be inserted and left in place for dual stimulation. The Rock Chick from Rocks Off Ltd. is this kind of toy, and I was excited to get this from Babeland to review.

The Rock Chick comes in an easy to open plastic box, with the Rock Chick visible through the front. The box advertises some of the features, and also has a diagram of how to use this toy.

The one I got is a pretty purple color, with a matte finish. The surface has a bit of a drag to it. There is a noticeable seam that can be felt with a finger, but isn’t noticeable when the toy is inserted and in use.

The Rock Chick is shaped like a U, with one side meant to be inserted to stimulate the g-spot, and the other side meant to nestle against your clitoris. Neither side is particularly rounded, but wider across the top/bottom than the sides. The insertable portion is 5” long and 3 1/2″ around. The g-spot tip is angled nicely with a rounded edge. The clitoral piece is 4 1/2″ long and 4 1/2″ around, with rows of ripples meant to rub against the clitoris.

It’s pretty flexible, and depending on your anatomy will conform to your curves to hit both spots right. It’s fairly firm, with just a bit of squishiness.

The Rock Chick is powered by a removable RO-80MM plastic bullet, 3” long and 5/8” wide, which takes 1 N battery. The bullet is a bit tricky to remove (it’s inserted in the clitoral end), but easy to insert. Mine was a shiny purple color, with silver base and purple power button. The battery is included, with a small piece of paper over the base to stop unwanted power drain, and goes in positive end first. The bullet is only 1 speed, and it produces a high, buzzy vibration that’s reasonably, although not immensely powerful. The vibrations travel fairly well through the toy, although they are stronger on the clitoris than on the g-spot.  It’s also fairly quiet – about as loud as a vibrating cell phone.  You don’t have to remove the bullet from the base to change the battery – you can simply unscrew the cap.

The bullet has an O-ring to make it waterproof, and allows the Rock Chick to be played with in the tub.

The Rock Chick is made of silicone, so it’s body safe, latex free, hypoallergenic, and phthtalates free. It can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water, or your favorite toy cleaner. You can also boil it or run it through the dishwasher on the top rack – just make sure to remove the bullet first! Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

This vibrator can be used in several different positions for optimal stimulation, and there is even a video on the Rocks Off site demonstrating some of the positions. These include lying back, reclining in a seated position, sitting and rocking on a chair or the edge of a table, and using a hand to do the rocking. It also works to stimulate if your partner gently provides the rocking, whether you are on your back or on your stomach.

So, Does It Work? For me, yes! The Rock Chick mostly fits my anatomy well, although the clitoral end is just a bit too long and a bit too wide for optimal comfort. I wish it was tapered down more, although the bullet in that end would make that tricky. The width of the shaft is nice, and the g-spot tip didn’t flex too much so it stimulated nicely.   The Rock Chick is the right size to allow for the insertion of other vaginal toys for a more intense sensation, and those toys pressing against the inserted portion definitely rubs me the right way.

While I would have enjoyed a little stronger vibration, the vibrations are quite pleasant when rocking. I preferred using this on a hard surface to get some pressure, although it did work fine on the bed. I did enjoy this with my partner providing the rocking sensations – it was rather tormenting when I couldn’t do anything about it.  This stayed in place well for me, and I didn’t have to worry about it slipping out of place.

I would recommend the Rock Chick if you want to try a hands-free toy that provides dual g-spot and clitoral stimulation, with gentle vibration.

Dual Purpose Jewelry!

This is some really cool stuff!  If you haven’t seen it, Incognito Jewelry looks like (and is) jewelry, but it’s also something more.  There’s a necklace that converts into vibrating nipple clamps, tassels that convert to niple jewelry, hand cuffs that convert to a double bracelet, and a necklace that converts into a decorative blade.

Babeland has an interview with Incoqnito Jewelry Designer Ti – check it out!

Sqweel of Disappointment

I’ve been itching to try LoveHoney’s Sqweel since I first saw it. I love oral sex, and since this is supposed to simulate a licking tongue, I jumped at the chance to review this for Babeland when they offered it for review.

The Sqweel comes in a hinged metal tin with LoveHoney Sqweel embossed on the lid. A cardboard slipcase covers the tin with some information about the product and a picture. Inside the box are the Sqweel, instructions on use and cleaning, and a sample of Sliquid.

I must say that the Sqweel was smaller than I was expecting. For some reason I thought the tongues would be tongue-sized. The Sqweel is 4 1/2″wide, and 5” long, with a thickness of 1 1/2″. It fits easily in the palm of your hand, and is easy to grasp. The whole outer case is black, and smooth and velvety to the touch.

The battery compartment is located on the squared end of the Sqweel. To access, simply press the arrow on the indicated rectangle where it says open, and the lid pops off. The Sqweel takes 3 AAA batteries, and the battery direction is clearly labeled.

The top is easy to remove by holding each side of the case and pressing the round end off in the direction of the arrows. This reveals the tongue wheel. The wheel consists of 10 pink tongues, which look like flower petals with a slight upward curve. Each tongue is 1” long and 1” wide at its widest point. The tongues are soft, flexible, and squishy.I have to say, next to dragon penises, this is one of the strangest looking toys I’ve ever seen! Ten lapping tongues? Well, ok. I’ll try anything once.

On the bottom of the square end is the intensity slider, which has 3 speeds. These speeds are very low, low, and medium low. I suspect this is to better simulate the lapping speed of an average tongue, but I would have preferred a higher speed as well. The Sqweel is pretty quiet, and it won’t be heard if you’ve got it under the covers with some background music on.  You can hold the Sqweel to have the tongues lap up or lap down, whichever is your preference.

The Sqweel’s tongues are made of silicone, while the case is made from ABS plastic. The toy is latex-free and phthalates-free, and can be disasssembled and thoroughly cleaned. To remove the tongue wheel, simply put your thumbs in the teardrop shaped indentations on the back side and twist gently in a clockwise direction. The lid will slide and pop off, allowing you to remove the wheel. The tongues can be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap and allowed to dry. The case should be wiped inside and out with a damp cloth.

So, Does it Work? Sadly, not well for me. On any speed, when the tongues are lubed and gently held against my clit, I will say the sensation is delightful. It does feel a bit like lapping tongues. The sensations are nice, gentle, and teasing, and I want them that way for about 1 minute.

The big problem with the Sqweel occurred when I applied any kind of pressure. Now, when I’m getting oral sex, I get to a point pretty quickly where I grab my partner’s hair and grind his face into my clit. Tongue pressure and tongue suction are definitely required. But with the Sqweel, when I applied too much pressure, regardless of the speed I was on, the tongues ground to a halt. This was not good and intensely frustrating, and made me squeal in disappointment. Every time I’d try again, I’d promise myself not to press, and I’d do it again and make the Sqweel stop.

While this is unique and kind of fun, I didn’t find it useful for any kind of prolonged session since I couldn’t grind into it. I had to switch off to either my partner’s tongue or a good bullet to really get the pressure and vibration I needed.

If you don’t need pressure and like light stimulation, you might enjoy the Sqweel. Otherwise, you’ll be better off with a real tongue or a harder toy.

I’d like to thank Babeland for satisfying my curiousity, and sending me the LoveHoney Sqweel for review!
