Cute and Compact

I enjoy a good rabbit, although often they don’t work quite right for me. Usually it’s the clit stimulator that fails me, either because it’s too short, or it isn’t strong enough. While most of the rabbits I have are long as well as wide, I’ve also been exploring some of the more compact ones. This month, as part of the Cal Exotics’ Sexpert program, I received the Entice Natalie rabbit vibrator for free to review.

natboxThe Entice Natalie comes in a black cardboard box, with a picture of the toy on the front and product information on the sides and back. Inside, Natalie is wrapped in plastic, and a general manual is also included. The vibrator is available in pink, raspberry, and purple, and I received mine in pink.

natfromsideThis is a short vibrator, but not a thin one. Natalie is just 6 1/2” long overall, with 4” insertable. Her shaft is curved with bulges around the head and lower shaft, and a swirl with a pronounced ridge run down her sides. The head of the shaft is the widest, at 1 1/2” in diameter, and it narrows in the middle before widening above the base.

The clitoral stimulator is 2” long and about 1” in diameter. It’s shaped like a rabbit, with separated ears to spread the vibrations, and a pronounced nose and small tummy bulge for contact.

The shaft and stimulator are covered with a silicone that’s smooth to the touch, with virtually no drag. The surface is firm yet doesn’t feel rigid. The shaft is flexible at its narrowest point, and the clitoral stimulator can also flex outward for positioning. Both the shaft and stimulator contain motors, and both are controlled together.

natbatteryNatalie runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are inserted into the base of the toy. The cap, which is PU-coated ABS plastic, matches the color of the silicone, and can be removed by pressing the tab in and lifting. The battery compartment has a slip of paper inside which indicates the battery direction. When the cap is snapped securely back onto Natalie’s base, the toy is waterproof and can be used in the tub.

natinhandTwo control buttons are located on the front of the shaft below the clitoral stimulator. Both buttons are clearly labeled and covered with silicone. The top button is a dedicated on/off button, and the bottom button controls the vibrations and patterns of both the shaft and stimulator. Natalie always starts on low, steady vibration, and has three steady vibration patterns and seven pulsing and escalatiing patterns.

The vibrations are moderate in both the shaft and stimulator, and they’re quiet – you won’t hear Natalie being used if there’s any kind of background sound.

Natalie is easy to clean, and should be washed before and after use with warm water and antibacterial soap, or you can use toy wipes or spray. Once dried, it can be stored in its box or in a toy bag. Water-based lube is recommended, but if you’d rather use silicone, do a spot test towards the base of the shaft before applying it to the toy.

nataloneSo, Did It Work? I like the overall design of Natalie. She’s compact, but her shaft isn’t small like many compact vibes. She’s easy to insert when lubed up, and with her curved shaft and shape, she’s nicely filling. The motor in the shaft is strong enough for me for internal vibrations, and many of the patterns are enjoyable. The flexibility of both the shaft and stimulator make it easier to position her.

Natalie’s clitoral stimulator is cute, but it could be a bit longer for me. The tips of the ears tickle my clit during use, but I’d much rather have the nose hit my clit dead on so I could apply a bit more pressure. As it is, the ears provide some pressure, but not quite enough – I’d rather have them dancing above or around my clit. Since the vibrations are only moderately strong, there’s not quite enough power on my clit to make me easily orgasm.

Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending me the Entice Natalie vibrator for free to review! If you like more compact rabbits, enjoy a thicker shaft, and don’t need a longer clitoral stimulator or very strong vibrations clitorally, the Natalie would be a nice choice.

I Love To Cuddle

I’ve had a few OhMiBod vibrators, all of which worked with my iPod and were enjoyable to use. Now they have a line called Lovelife, which don’t use music but do have pretty designs, and they look like fun. GoodVibes recently sent me one of the new Lovelife vibrators, the Cuddle G-Spot, for free in exchange for this review.

ohboxThe Cuddle G-Spot vibrator comes nicely packaged. It has a slipcase in pink, and a cutout the size of the vibrator inside on the front of the box, through which the pink and white interlocking-heart-patterned box shows. It looks a bit strange, and reminds me of a pantyliner, which would actually make the box somewhat discreet if the back didn’t have a picture of the vibe. ohinboxThe slipcover sides have some information about the toy. The box itself is a pink and white design, and is pretty sturdy – ideal for storing the Cuddle when it’s not in use. Inside the box are the vibrator, a white satin storage bag, a USB charging cable, and an instruction manual in several languages, which includes information on the one year warranty. This vibrator only comes in pink and white, like the rest of the products in the line.  The color is nice and not too light.

ohoutofboxThis G-spot vibrator is about 6 1/2” long overall, with 4 1/2” insertable. The insertable portion is silicone, and it’s slick to the touch with very little give – what give it has is around the tip; the shaft is firm, and the toy isn’t flexible.  The head is the widest point of the Cuddle, at about 1 1/4”, and the shaft narrows as it gets closer to the base.  The shaft has a gentle curve, allowing for G-spot stimulation.

The Cuddle is rechargeable, and its charging port is located on the bottom of the white ABS plastic base. The jacked end of the charging cable is easy to insert, and the other end can be inserted into a computer’s USB port or a wall adapter. The Cuddle takes about 2 1/2 hours to fully charge, and will run for approximately 2 hours on the strongest setting (longer on lower settings). The white LED light around the control buttons will flash while the toy is charging, and will glow steady when charging is complete. It has a standby time of about 90 days, so you can charge it up and it will be ready to go when you are.

ohbasebuttonsThe control panel is located on the front of the base. Three buttons are located inside the heart-shaped control panel: a +, a -, and a ~. Holding the ~ button for three seconds turns the Cuddle on or off, and pressing it briefly during use changes the vibration and pulsation. The + and – control the strength of the seven vibrations or patterns, and there are six different levels for each. The vibrations are moderately strong, and concentrated mostly in the tip, so you can use this for clit stimulation as well. They’re pretty quiet, too, especially when the Cuddle is inserted.

The Cuddle is splashproof but not waterproof, so you won’t be able to use this in the shower or bath. It’s easy to clean with water and antibacterial soap (don’t submerge it or get water in the charging port, and just wipe the base if necessary), toy cleaner, or toy wipes. Once it’s dried thorougly, it can be stored in its satin bag or in its box, along with its charging cord.

ohinhandSo, Did It Work? I love the Cuddle. The curve and size work well for me, and it’s easy to hit my G-Spot. The vibrations are not strong enough for me to get off if I use this on my clit, but internally they’re enough. I also like that the patterns can be changed in intensity – usually these patterns are only one strength, but with the cuddle, I can set them as strong or as weak as I’d like. The charge time and run time are decent, and I like that it charges via USB. The only thing I’d change with the Cuddle would be to make this waterproof – I’d love to be able to take this with me in the tub.

Orange Vibrations

It’s hard to believe that the summer is about half over already! The weather’s been hot, and there are few things better at night than to lie in front of a fan and masturbate with a vibrator or two.  This month, as part of the Cal Exotics’ Sexpert Program, I received the Silicone Gyration Sensations Gyrating 10-Function Tickler for free in exchange for this review.

gyrboxThe Gyrating Tickler comes in a cardboard box with a picture of the toy on the front and product information on the back. Inside the box are the control, bullet, and silicone sleeve, sealed in plastic, and a small universal instruction pamphlet. This toy comes in two fun colors, purple, and orange. I received mine in orange, and it’s that great Tic Tac color, warm and vibrant.

gyroutofbox
gyrstimulatorThe silicone sleeve is about 6” long overall (5 1/4” straight up and down), and its shaft is 3 1/2” insertable. The head is rounded and about 1 1/4” at its widest. The tip and upper part of the shaft are quite firm, while the shaft flexes lower down. The flexible clit stimulator is about 1 3/4” long and 1” wide. The top of its tip is covered with silicone nubs for extra stimulation.

gyrbulletThe ABS plastic bullet is somewhat bell-shaped, with a 1 1/4” diameter at its widest diameter, and 1” at the bottom. It’s attached to a long cord ending in a universal jack, which allows you to use it with any other jacked controller if you want a different set of patterns or more power. The bullet can be used alone, but it also (with a considerable amount of difficulty) can be inserted into the bottom of the sleeve.

gyrremoteThe controller looks like a long, oversized Tic Tac, and it’s also made of ABS plastic. The base unscrews to reveal the battery compartment, and a slide-out tray holds 2 AAA batteries. The tray can only be inserted one way into the controller’s body, and once it’s in and the base is attached, the Gyrating Tickler is ready to use.

The controller has just one button on the front. Pressing the button once will turn it on (it will start at the pattern after the one you shut the toy off on), and subsequent presses will cycle through the 10 vibration and pattern settings. There are three steady vibrations (high, medium, and low), and 7 pulsing and escalating patterns. The light behind the button will glow or flash to the vibration or pattern the Gyrating Tickler is on.

The vibrations are moderate and rumbly, not buzzy like you might expect. They are fairly quiet, especially when the bullet is inside the sleeve, and the sleeve is inserted. They travel decently down both the shaft and the clitoral arm.

gyrbatteryThis toy is easy to clean, even though it isn’t waterproof, and each piece can be cleaned separately. Both the sleeve and the bullet can be washed before and after use with water and antibacterial soap and water and dried, a toy cleaner, or toy wipe, and dried before storing. The controller can be wiped down with a wet washcloth and dried off if necessary. The box won’t hold up for long-term storage, but storing this in a toybag or drawer will work fine. Water-based lube is recommended, but if you want to use a silicone base, test it on the bottom of the sleeve before use.

gyrinhandSo, Did It Work? Some things about this toy worked well. The bullet alone had deeper vibrations than I expected, and I liked the variety of patterns and vibrations. It could have had more power behind it – I did try it with another remote I have that uses AA batteries, and the vibrations were stronger and easier for me to get the first orgasm. After the first one, the vibrations with the original controller were strong enough to keep me going….or coming, as the case may be. I liked that the sleeve was made of silicone, and it was easy to insert. With the bullet in, the vibrations traveled well throughout the sleeve, both to the head and through the clitoral arm (the arm could be a bit longer for me, but I was able to get it pretty well situated).

Getting the sleeve on and off the bullet is, however, a real challenge. My husband had to put the bullet in, as I could not get it in no matter how hard I tried, and even though he did this a few times, it didn’t get much easier. Lubing the bullet helped, but it was still tough for him (and impossible for me) to do. I could get the bullet out by rolling the bottom of the sleeve and really working it – it’s good that it stays completely in place when it’s in the sleeve, but it should be easier to put it in and take it out. Could you leave it in? You could, but toys like this I like to be able to use the sleeve and bullet separately. Considering the amount of pulling, rolling, and twisting the bottom of the sleeve endured during our attempts with the bullet, I will say that the material didn’t rip or appear to stretch at all.

I’m In Heaven

Along with the Hitachi, I reviewed a few attachments for this powerhouse vibrator. This review was published with non-exclusive rights on another website. I’m reposting it here (with a few edits.)

If you’re looking for a slow, building orgasm, this attachment is not for you. If you love your Hitachi or other ball-head massager, and wish that power could be harnessed in an insertable vibrator, this is the extension to buy. Intense orgasms guaranteed!

bluehitachicapCan the Hitachi Magic Wand be any more fantastic? Why yes, yes it can, with the G-Plus Massager Attachment from Sinclair Intimacy Institute. This attachment fits many massage-style vibrators with the rounded head. It’s a pretty turquoise color, and comes packaged in a plastic box. The attachment is made of TPR rubber. It’s phthalates free and latex free, and had no scent coming out of the box. TPR has good wear resistance and is dirt repellent, but it is porous, so it can’t be sterilized. It can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap, and both silicone and water-based lubes can be used safely.

bluecapflexThe attachment has an opening at the bottom, and slips easily, but securely over the massager head. A small instruction sheet is included and shows how to correctly place the attachment. The shape is a little strange – it looks a bit like Gonzo’s beak (from the Muppet Show). The longer extension (4” insertable) is for g-spot stimulation, and has a 1” diameter. The smaller extension is about 2” long with a 1” diameter, and nestles against the clitoris when the other end is inserted. Once lube is applied and the extension is in place, the Hitachi is ready to be plugged in and turned on.

bluecaponhitachiIt’s best to be seated or lying down, and start the Hitachi on low. The sensation is amazing – the power of the Hitachi in an insertable vibrator! Your muscles want to clench around it, and they do. It’s almost impossible to relax and open up due to the vibrations. On top of what you can feel internally, the clitoral extension hits just right and stimulates your clitoris like there’s no tomorrow. If you’re adventurous, go for the high setting, and the attachment will bring you a crying, screaming orgasm in minutes.

While a g-spot orgasm eludes me, the orgasms from this attachment are phenomenal. Without the clitoral stimulation, I might have had one with this, but you can’t get away from it. No complaints, though! Forced orgasm play was incredible with this toy as well.

I can’t recommend this enough if you love your Hitachi. You’ll love it even more, if that’s possible. You can pick up this attachment at Pink Cherry.

Hot Fun In The Summertime

June marks the beginning of summer, although it seems like the weather’s already arrived. Lots of rabbits are running around outside, and Cal Exotics has new rabbits for inside as well. This month, as part of their Sexpert program, I received the Entice Katharine for free in exchange for this review.

kathboxThe Entice Katharine comes in a black cardboard box, with a picture of the product on the front and product information on the sides and back. The toy comes in 3 colors – pink, raspberry, and purple. My Katharine came in raspberry, and it’s a rich purplish pink color. Inside the box are the vibrator and a USB charging cord, as well as a general instruction sheet.

kathoutofboxKatharine is a nicely-sized silicone rabbit.  She’s 8 1/2” long overall, with about 4” insertable. Her shaft is covered with smooth, non-tacky silicone, and she has a gently curved shape. Several waves run down her sides adding to her aesthetic – these don’t add to the internal sensation, but give her a sleek, modern look. The tip of the shaft is rounded and slightly tapered for easier insertion, and there’s a slight bulge for G-spot stimulation. The shaft is just 1 1/4” wide, great for those who don’t like girthier rabbits, and narrows slightly towards the base.

kathflexclitThe clitoral arm is a small rabbit that has a nose bump, which may hit your clit directly on, and two separated ears. This arm is 2 1/4” long and about 1” wide. The arm is flexible away from the shaft, which aids in positioning.

Katharine is a rechargeable rabbit, and she charges via USB – you can plug her into your computer, or into a USB wall port for charging. The charging contacts are magnetic, and the two contacts attach over Katharine’s control buttons. The charger only attaches one way to the toy, and it snaps on securely – it doesn’t tend to come unattached. When charging, a white light flashes around the buttons, and it glows steadily when Katharine is fully charged.

kathchargebuttonsThis rabbit is controlled by two buttons which are located below the clit arm. The buttons are surrounded by a metal-plated ABS ring. The top button controls the clit stimulator, and the bottom button controls the shaft. Each button must be pressed for 3 seconds to turn the motor on, and three seconds to turn it off.  The vibration patterns are the same in both motors: 3 steady vibrations (low, medium, and high), and 5 pulse patterns. The vibrations are strong, and are on the buzzy side. They’re concentrated below the tip in the shaft (they can be felt farther down the shaft, but are much weaker) and in the main part of the bunny on the clit arm (and they do travel well through the ears). No light indicates when just the clit arm is turned on, but a white light and a red light both glow when the shaft is on.

kathchargingWhat makes Katharine unique from other rabbits is that she warms during use. The sensation is most pronounce in the top part of the shaft, and the shaft warms up to 104 degrees Farenheit when it’s turned on.

Katharine is waterproof, so she’s great to take into the bath.

This rabbit is easy to clean before and after use with antibacterial soap and water, or you can use toy wipes or toy cleaner. She doesn’t pick up a lot of lint, and can be stored in a toy bag – the box can be used, but it won’t hold up over time. Water-based lube is recommended, but if you prefer silicone, do a spot test near the bottom of Katharine to make sure there’s no reaction.

kathaloneSo, Did It Work? Katharine is a fun little rabbit, and I’d recommend her. Her vibrations are pretty strong, and even though they’re on the buzzy side, they’re strong enough to bring me to orgasm. I usually don’t use patterns for clit stimulation, but internally I really enjoyed the pulses. The clit arm is just a bit too short to hit my clit with its nose bump, but the ears reach just fine. I like that the motors are controlled separately, so I can have the patterns inside and the steady vibrations on my clit.

I could feel the tip of the shaft warming inside, and the amount it warmed depended on if I was using the steady vibrations or the pulses. I don’t know if it reached 104 degrees, but it was pleasantly warm during use.

I also really like the charging plug this comes with. Some magnetic ones I have for other toys are really finicky – you have to position the charger on the right area, and then fiddle with the angle to keep the logo lit and the toy charging. And there’s nothing worse than thinking you’ve charged a toy, then finding out that it hasn’t charged at all. With Katharine’s charger, it snaps securely to the toy, keeping it in place and charging without worry.

Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending me the Entice Katharine for free to review! If you’re interested in the Cal Exotics’ Entice line you can check them out (Katharine is not available as yet) at PinkCherry.com.
