1. What story does your family always tell about you??
There are a few, but one my Mom always told was when I was 5, and my oldest sister, who was 19, took me to her college. She was studying biology, and there was a human skeleton in the classroom.  She told me that that was what was inside of me, and she traumatized me for days – I was sure nothing like that was in me! My Mom always thought that was funny.

2. At what age did you become an adult?
I would say 18. When I was 18, I graduated high school, went off to college, and had to do things for myself.

3. What is the most embarrassing thing you know about your parents?
Hmmm…there was nothing that embarrassing that I knew…although I do remember that when I was 10, I found all the Playboy magazines my Dad read under the bed.

4. This year, what is the mot important life lesson you’ve learned?
Love hurts.

5. Describe your childhood self in 5 words. Were you happy?
Introverted, active, curious, smart, imaginative. Yes, I would say I was happy.

6. Who in your family has been kindest to you?
I would say my Dad was always the kindest to me. I miss him.

Bonus:  Who are you closest to or trust the most– a friend or family member?
I trust my best friend the most.

1. What would you do to leave a great impression with a person on your first date?
Hmm…I think I would listen to them. One of the things I think has really fallen by the wayside, in most aspects of life, is really listening to people.

2. Do you usually follow your heart or your head?
A combination of both, but I probably follow my head more than my heart.

3. If your significant other told you to jump off a tall cliff and told you that you’ll land safely because there’s a net you can’t see yet, would you blindly trust your s.o. and jump?
Unless they’d not been honest about something drastic in the past, I’d trust them and jump.

4. How do you support your significant other?
By listening, talking about things, and being there.

5. What types of things or gestures/acts make you feel loved?
There’s a lot of things – usually they’re the small things that get done, or the words and the looks. There’s also being given the freedom to be myself.

6. What types of things or gestures/acts make you feel respected?
That’s a tougher one. I think having someone genuinely listen to me makes me feel that way, as well as things getting done without me having to ask.

7. Can you have emotional intimacy without physical intimacy? Explain.
Yes, you can. I think emotional intimacy can be even more powerful than physical intimacy, as it involves the head and the heart, and not just the body.

Bonus:  In 2016, what was your most conflicted emotional moment?
That would be when I had to put down my dog right before the 4th of July. I knew it was for the best, as he was miserable, but it was so hard to actually do.
