The holidays are fast approaching, and it’s hard to believe the end of the year is almost here! It’s the time of year I’m looking for gifts, including some for my more adventurous friends. This month, as part of the Cal Exotics’ Sexpert program, I got to review the Enchanted Thrusting Elle, one of three new Enchanted rabbit vibrators, which I received for free in exchange for this unbiased review.
The Enchanted Thrusting Elle comes in a plastic box, and is visible through the front and side. Product information is on the back and bottom of the box. Inside, the Elle rests in a plastic formed tray.
Elle is quite pretty. The tip of the shaft is clear and reveals the beads and thruster underneath the scentless, phthalates-free TPE material – the clitoral arm is also clear TPE. Underneath the clear sleeve, the shaft and base, as well as the bullet in the clit arm, are a metallic blue ABS plastic.
Like many rabbits, Elle is quite large. It measures 10 ½” long overall, with about 5” insertable. The shaft is about 1 2/3” in diameter. Three rows of stainless steel beads surround the shaft in a 1 ½” long area.
The clit arm is shaped like a large-eared elephant, complete with trunk. It’s about 2” long on the side that will nestle next to your body, and about 3” wide with its ears spread (the arm without the wings is about 1” wide.
The bottom of the base unscrews to access the battery compartment. Elle takes 4 AA batteries, which are inserted into a removable tray. The tray should be reinserted with the contacts on the tray and the inside of the battery compartment aligned. An O-ring sits below the threads, and the Elle can be used in the tub, but make sure you twist the cap on securely first before submerging it in water. The batteries should be removed after use to preserve their life – they can be kept in the plastic tray, if desired.
The control panel features 4 control buttons, and each has a corresponding LED light. The top button controls the 7 functions of the clit arm, and glows/flashes in green, yellow, or red depending on the strength. Pressing this button once turns the clit arm on, and holding it for 2 seconds turns it off. The clit arm has the following functions:
– Low and steady
– Medium and steady
– High and steady
– Flutters low to high
– Pulses
– Faster pulses
– 3 short one long pulse
The two bottom buttons, labeled with a down arrow and an up arrow, control the speed of the beads. Pressing the right, or up arrow, starts the beads moving inside the shaft. Pressing it two more times increases the speed of the rotation/movement.Pressing the left, or down arrow, slows down the rotation and also stops the beads.
The middle button switches the rotation direction of the shaft.
Elle doesn’t have a memory setting, so the clit arm will always start on the low and steady vibration, while the shaft beads will start moving in a counterclockwise direction.
The Elle doesn’t thrust from the tip – the tip is actually stationary. What makes Elle unique, and creates a very unique sensation against the vaginal wall, is the movement of the beads both around, and up and down, the shaft. Elle manages to create a fairly unique sensation by the motion of the beads.
Elle is fairly quiet – its sound will easily be muffled by background music or the television, and it won’t be heard from behind closed doors.
Elle is easy to clean, and should be washed both before and after use with antibacterial soap and water. Toy cleaner or wipes can also be used. Once dry, Elle can be stored in a large toy bag. Only water-based lube should be used.
So, Did It Work? I was really looking forward to trying out Elle – I have a vibrator that thrusts (the Eins), and was curious how the Elle would work. I could see the mechanism inside, and was still thinking the tip thrust up and down before I put in the batteries. When I turned it on, I could see the piece inside going up and down, but the tip didn’t move. And then I noticed the beads. I do have a few rabbits with beads, and they only go around the shaft in a circle. But with Elle, the beads go up and down as they spin around the shaft. When inserted, I could feel them going up and down, and it’s definitely different than the straight-around beads, which tend not to stimulate me so much after a while. The motion of the beads, although it’s not over a large distance, feels great and is a lot more stimulating. I liked them better in the counter-clockwise direction (maybe my vagina is left-handed like me, who knows?), but in either direction I really enjoyed the sensation. It’s not thrusting, but the up and down feels different, and pleasant.
The beads rotate on 3 different speeds. I like my toys, in general on high speeds unless I’ve had an orgasm or two, but the rotation felt good on all three. I did find that on the low rotation speed that I could completely stop the beads by squeezing, but I couldn’t on the medium or high.
The length of Elle’s clit arm is just right for me, and I love how the elephant’s ears spread the vibrations out while the bullet makes direct contact. The trunk vibrates like crazy as well, and the vibration strength is strong .
The controller is pretty easy to use, once you remember which button controls what part. The buttons aren’t hard to press, and I like that the shaft and clit arm are controlled separately. It’s easy to kick back and let Elle work its magic to get me to orgasm.
Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending me the Enchanted Thrusting Elle for free to review as part of their Sexpert program! If you like larger diameter rabbits and like rabbits with moving beads, Elle is definitely one to try. I think you’ll like how the beads on this one work to create a very different sensation. Two other styles of Enchanted Thrusting rabbits are also available, in different colors and differently shaped clit arms: the Bunny, which comes in metallic pink, and the Butterfly, which comes in metallic purple.
