Rock & Roll All Night!

I’m all about hands-free stimulation. There’s nothing better when you just want to rock yourself to orgasm, or when you’re tied up to not have to worry about holding something in place. I have a terrible time with strap-on toys, but I really enjoy toys that can be inserted and left in place for dual stimulation. The Rock Chick from Rocks Off Ltd. is this kind of toy, and I was excited to get this from Babeland to review.

The Rock Chick comes in an easy to open plastic box, with the Rock Chick visible through the front. The box advertises some of the features, and also has a diagram of how to use this toy.

The one I got is a pretty purple color, with a matte finish. The surface has a bit of a drag to it. There is a noticeable seam that can be felt with a finger, but isn’t noticeable when the toy is inserted and in use.

The Rock Chick is shaped like a U, with one side meant to be inserted to stimulate the g-spot, and the other side meant to nestle against your clitoris. Neither side is particularly rounded, but wider across the top/bottom than the sides. The insertable portion is 5” long and 3 1/2″ around. The g-spot tip is angled nicely with a rounded edge. The clitoral piece is 4 1/2″ long and 4 1/2″ around, with rows of ripples meant to rub against the clitoris.

It’s pretty flexible, and depending on your anatomy will conform to your curves to hit both spots right. It’s fairly firm, with just a bit of squishiness.

The Rock Chick is powered by a removable RO-80MM plastic bullet, 3” long and 5/8” wide, which takes 1 N battery. The bullet is a bit tricky to remove (it’s inserted in the clitoral end), but easy to insert. Mine was a shiny purple color, with silver base and purple power button. The battery is included, with a small piece of paper over the base to stop unwanted power drain, and goes in positive end first. The bullet is only 1 speed, and it produces a high, buzzy vibration that’s reasonably, although not immensely powerful. The vibrations travel fairly well through the toy, although they are stronger on the clitoris than on the g-spot.  It’s also fairly quiet – about as loud as a vibrating cell phone.  You don’t have to remove the bullet from the base to change the battery – you can simply unscrew the cap.

The bullet has an O-ring to make it waterproof, and allows the Rock Chick to be played with in the tub.

The Rock Chick is made of silicone, so it’s body safe, latex free, hypoallergenic, and phthtalates free. It can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water, or your favorite toy cleaner. You can also boil it or run it through the dishwasher on the top rack – just make sure to remove the bullet first! Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

This vibrator can be used in several different positions for optimal stimulation, and there is even a video on the Rocks Off site demonstrating some of the positions. These include lying back, reclining in a seated position, sitting and rocking on a chair or the edge of a table, and using a hand to do the rocking. It also works to stimulate if your partner gently provides the rocking, whether you are on your back or on your stomach.

So, Does It Work? For me, yes! The Rock Chick mostly fits my anatomy well, although the clitoral end is just a bit too long and a bit too wide for optimal comfort. I wish it was tapered down more, although the bullet in that end would make that tricky. The width of the shaft is nice, and the g-spot tip didn’t flex too much so it stimulated nicely.   The Rock Chick is the right size to allow for the insertion of other vaginal toys for a more intense sensation, and those toys pressing against the inserted portion definitely rubs me the right way.

While I would have enjoyed a little stronger vibration, the vibrations are quite pleasant when rocking. I preferred using this on a hard surface to get some pressure, although it did work fine on the bed. I did enjoy this with my partner providing the rocking sensations – it was rather tormenting when I couldn’t do anything about it.  This stayed in place well for me, and I didn’t have to worry about it slipping out of place.

I would recommend the Rock Chick if you want to try a hands-free toy that provides dual g-spot and clitoral stimulation, with gentle vibration.

This Die Will Make You Scream, All Right

When I was offered a chance to review the Screaming Dice from Cal Exotics, for EdenFantasys,  I thought it would be fun.  While I’m not a huge player of adult games, on occasion my husband and I play them for a change of pace and some amusement.  This did provide some amusement, albeit of the frustrated kind.
The Screaming Dice comes packaged in plastic, with a cardboard header proclaiming “Lights & Sounds” and “Action Dice with Flashing Lights that Scream Excitement!”.  The header also lists the material as Cis-Polybutadiene rubber, and mentions that the dice uses 2 watch sized batteries which are included.

The first thing that struck me was that there was only 1 die in the package.  While dice to me means a pair, the package is using dice to refer to only one.  I figured that was ok, surely a game with one die could still be fun to play.
The die is a translucent red in color, and 1 1/2″ square.  The rubber material is soft and squishy, and has a light rubbery scent.  It isn’t very noticeable and quickly fades.  The material has a tendency to pick up everything it touches.  Dust, crumbs, hair, fingerprints: you name it, it sticks to the surface, making cloudy and dirty easily.  The die can’t be run under water, but can be wiped clean with a wet cloth.
The die sides each have a white circle, with a different phrase on each side in a different font.  The phrases are “Nipple Play” opposite “Undress”, “Foreplay” opposite “Do it”, and “Kiss & Caress” opposite “Use a toy”.
A very noticeable seam runs around the halves.  It can be seen and felt, and I honestly thought the two halves must be separated along this seam to get to the batteries. The seam doesn’t seem to affect the roll of the die.
The packaging states that 2 watch batteries are included, and sure enough, they are visible inside the die.  In the center of the side that says “Use a toy” is a small hole, large enough to stick a paperclip or the tip of a pen through.  The batteries lie right below the hole.  The batteries cannot be removed from the toy, so saying the batteries are included is a bit misleading.  This means to me that I can replace the batteries when they die.
While no instructions are provided, my husband and I thought we could make a fun game of this, so we settled down one night to give it a go.  I was thinking the die could be fun, and wanted to see the flashing lights and hear the sounds.
We ran up against a big problem.  The die didn’t work.
I expected it to perform when rolled, but that wasn’t the case.  Oh, it rolled all right, but no lights, no sound, no anything.
My husband suggested rolling it harder, maybe dropping it from a greater height.  Nothing.  We tried rolling it hard into the wall.  Still nothing.
We were both frustrated, so we decided to use the die without the lights or sounds and see what kind of a game we could make of it.  It was kind of fun to give the die a roll and follow the instructions on the side, setting a time limit to perform the action, but I really wanted to see the lights and hear the sounds.
I figured the die was dead, but after reading a few reviews on how hard it had to impact a surface to perform, I gave it another go.  To the amusement of my two dogs, I threw it at the linoleum floor.  It bounced off at an odd angle, but no noise or lights.  The dogs went after it thinking I wanted to play, so once I retrieved it (before they got their teeth in it), I banished them to outside the gate to watch.
I gave it my strongest throw into the floor, and voila!  The sound went off and lights flashed.  It wasn’t too loud, and it operated for about 3 seconds.  It also bounced pretty high and careened off under the bookshelf.  I retrieved it and tried a gentler throw, thinking maybe it just needed to be activated.  No dice.  I had to use a ridiculous amount of strength to make the lights and noises reappear.  I was able to get the die to show different lights and sounds, but by then my arm was tired from bashing this into the floor.
While the idea for this die is fun and could possibly provide amusement and a little spice, the die just does not work.  You shouldn’t have to exert force like you’re trying to ring the bell at the Strong Man carnival game to get the die to flash and make noise.
Cute concept, disappointing execution.

Suction Power!

I recently got the new Tantus Suction Cup to review, and I have to say that this is totally awesome!  I’ll add a link to my review when it goes up, but in the meantime, here are some pictures of the suction cup holding a variety of dildos in place.

The suction cup inserted into the Tantus Sherbet.  This was a tight fit.

The suction cup in the Tantus Buzz 1.  Another tight fit.
The suction cup in the Tantus Pro-Touch.
The suction cup in the Tantus Rascal O2.  Super easy to insert.
The suction cup in Vixen Creation’s Smooth Operator. Also super easy to insert.
Might be a fun way to exercise!
Makes you want one, doesn’t it??

The Red and The Black

Wrist cuffs are fun, but there are times you only want your ankles attached to something. I have trouble with how small some wrist cuffs are to actually use them on my ankles, so I thought I’d give the Kink Cuffs for Ankles by KinkLab a try.

The cuffs come in a cute, round cylinder with a black pull-off lid. The lid has a strong seal, but by pulling the loop in the center and holding on to the sides, the top whooshes off and the cuffs are released. The front paper in the canister has a picture of the product, with some information about the cuffs.

The cuffs are quite pretty, and in my favorite color combination of late: red and black. They are made of webbed black nylon underneath, with an attached leather strap on top. The nylon is 12” long and 2” wide, and the leather is 14” long from strap end to buckle. This piece is 1” wide, fine grained on the top, and unfinished (suede-like) on the bottom. Each cuff has a D-ring and a buckle closure.

The leather is attached to the nylon by 4 rivets, which go through to the backside of the nylon. Two rivets hold the buckle to the piece, while the D-ring is held on between the other two. The leather has 11 buckle holes, spaced 3/8” apart. The cuffs adjust to fit ankles from 6” to 11” in circumference. The cuffs are non-locking, and easy to remove when done with play. They buckle securely and are not easy to pull off during use.

The cuffs can be cleaned by wiping the nylon with a wet washcloth and patted dry. Take care not to get the leather too wet. Both the nylon and leather are resistant to tearing or creasing. I like to store these in their canister, but you can also lay them flat in a drawer.

We really enjoyed these cuffs. We play moderately hard, and we had no problems with the cuffs staying in place. I didn’t find them to chafe or rub against my ankles painfully, nor did they trap lots of sweat underneath. They worked well when attached to a spreader bar or to each other, and they were comfortable for long-term wear. They’re even large enough for my husband’s ankles, although I don’t think he’ll be wearing them much.

These were a great choice for us. While we purchased these solely as ankle restraints, they’d also work for larger wrists.  These would also be a good choice if you don’t need locking cuffs.  They are well made and should last for a long time.

I purchased these at EdenFantasys, and you can too by clicking here.
