Editor’s Pick

  • Tantus Hoss by Sammi
  • Hoss is enormous. Humongous. Gigantic. Bigger than big. He makes Randy look like a beginner’s toy (and Randy most definitely is not).

Editor’s Note: This is a seriously impressive review because, among other things, Hoss is a seriously impressive toy. I thought it a fitting EP for an impressive edition both in number (69) and in review count (80).

Simply Divine!

I’ve gotten a lot of new bondage gear lately, in particular cuffs and collars.  My newest collar that I received free from EdenFantasys to review is the Divinity Collar from Spartacus.  White leather, light blue faux fur lining, and blue rhineshones make this pretty as well as functional.  The snap back makes it easy to adjust and remove, and the small D-ring allows you to attach a leash for play.  The Divine Collar, is, simply divine!

You can read my review of this collar for EdenFantasys by clicking here.

Restraint: It’s What I Crave

Most of my bondage wear is black or red. Those seem to be very popular colors when shopping for BDSM gear, and for good reason. But occasionally I like something a little different. I had purchased the Spartacus Crave collar with nipple clamps from EdenFantasys awhile ago, which came in a surprisingly delightful purple color, so I had to get the Crave Wrist Restraints from EdenFantasys as well to go with it.

The Crave wrist cuffs come in an easy to open clamshell case. The front insert has a picture of a woman wearing the cuffs, while the back has some product information. The cuffs are visible through the front.

These cuffs are absolutely lovely! The leather is a gorgeous shade of purple, and matches the leather of the collar. It is fine-grained, and smooth to the touch.

The back of the cuffs is covered with black faux fur, which is soft and pleasant to the touch. All the hardware is black, which really gives the cuffs an elegant look.

Each cuff is 9” long and 2” wide. Black stitching runs all around to secure the fur lining to the leather, and all the stitching seems secure.

The buckling piece is a 12 1/4″ long and 1″ wide strip of leather. This piece weaves twice under the wider leather of the cuff and is secured in place with black studs. Eight buckling holes are spaced about 3/8” apart, allowing these cuffs to be adjusted from 4” to 7 1/2″. When buckled on the first hole, the edges of the cuff just barely touch. When on the last whole, the band overlaps considerably.

Between the first weave towards the buckle end is a 1” black D-ring, which is large enough to slip a finger through. You can also attach both rings to a leash or other restraining device if desired.

These cuffs are easy to clean. The leather can be wiped with a mild soap and a wet cloth, or leather cleaner can be used. If necessary, the fur can be wiped or patted with a soapy wet cloth. They can be stored flat, or gently rolled.

I didn’t buy these with any real purpose in mind, except that they would match my purple collar. However, Valentine’s day was coming up, and when I offered my husband a color choice for our “date night”, he popped up with purple.

Paired with the matching collar, these looked wonderful! I also had a new black and purple pirate wench costume, and together it looked pretty fetching. My husband really enjoyed the look as well. I found the cuffs to be comfortable – this is one of the few pairs I have that have a soft lining and they didn’t dig in to my wrists or trap lots of sweat underneath. They stayed buckled and in place, and worked well whether they were linked together or just on my wrists.

These are truly lovely, well-made set, and a wonderful addition to our collection.  I bought mine at EdenFantasys, and you can too by clicking here.

BCurious: BExcited, BSatisfied, BHappy!

After reading a lot of reviews of the Bswish Bcurious, both positive and negative, I was immensely curious about it. They say curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back, dontcha know.  It looked intriguing and I love rechargeable toys, so when Babeland offered this up for review, I jumped at the chance to try it out.

The Bcurious comes in a black box, with fuschia accents. The front has a picture of a woman and mentions some of the functions, while the back has some information in several languages.

Inside the box, the Bcurious rests on a black plastic tray. It looks lovely and intriguing, and I couldn’t wait to try it out.

Under the tray, the box also contains a black storage pouch, small manual with basic instructions, wall adapter, and…

…a USB cord!!

Yes, I said USB! Finally, another toy that can be charged by plugging it into your computer! Ever since I had my first USB chargeable toy, I’ve been hoping to find another. And the Bcurious is the second I’ve found! In case you don’t have your computer handy or prefer a wall outlet, the adapter allows you to plug this right into the wall. This makes me very, very happy.

The Bcurious is beautiful. It’s mostly black silicone, with a plastic fuschia strip that runs around the sides and fuschia trim around the button pad. It’s 4 1/4″ long from top to bottom, and 1 1/2″ wide at its widest point. The silicone is smooth and silky to the touch. The fuschia strip doesn’t lay flat into the silicone, but rather causes a noticeable ridge. While you can feel it, it’s smooth and I didn’t notice it during use.

This vibrator is firm and inflexible, except for the button pad. This pad has 2 buttons, with the Bswish logo in between. The bottom button turns the Bcurious on and off, and the top button changes the vibrations.

The Bcurious comes charged so it can be used right away (shout Halleluiah from the rooftops!) When the lithium-polymer battery needs to be charged, simply lift the flap on its side and gently press in the rounded small end of the cord. Then plug the USB side into either your computer’s available USB port, or into the wall adapter and the wall.

When charging, the Bcurious flashes blue around the control panel. After 2 hours, when fully charged, the light glows steady. The Bcurious can be used up to 2 hours on a single charge, and will retain its charge for up to 60 days when not in use. It shouldn’t be used when it’s charging, and it shouldn’t be charged for more than 24 hours to avoid damage to the battery.

To turn on the Bcurious, press the lower button once. This will backlight the control pad in blue LED. Pressing the top button will start the vibrations, which are:

  • Low and steady
  • Medium and steady
  • High and steady
  • Throbby low to high reverberation
  • Medium pulse
  • Fast pulse
  • 3 short pulses followed by 1 long pulse

The backlight will stay on until the off button is pressed.

The vibrations of the Bcurious are decently strong, and are throbby, deep vibrations, as opposed to shallow surface vibrations. They are concentrated in the tip, although they can be felt nicely down the body, so your labia will also be stimulated in addition to your clit. The Bcurious is a bit loud, but it’s not as loud when it’s in use and pressed hard against your clit. It’s waterproof as well, so it can be enjoyed in the shower or bath.

The Bcurious is made of plastic and silicone, so it’s non-porous and phthalates free. It’s also hypo-allergenic, latex-free, and food grade material. It can be cleaned by washing it with antibacterial soap and warm water, or you can use your favorite toy cleaner. Only a water-based lubricant should be used.

It’s also waterproof, so you can have fun with this in the shower or bath as well as the bedroom.  Just make sure that if any water gets in the plug to let it thoroughly dry out before charging.

So, Does it Work? Yes! While it’s not the strongest clitoral vibrator I’ve used, it is pretty powerful.  The vibration patterns are nice, particularly the high and steady and the fast pulse.  I love the fact that it’s hard, and I can really press it into my clit to get to orgasm.   It doesn’t get me off fast, but it’s very pleasurable to use, either alone, with other toys, or with my partner.

Bcurious.  You’ll be glad you were!
