Dig the Diamonds

It’s December, Christmas actually – can you believe how fast the year went past? I’ve had a lot of fun this past year reviewing products for Cal Exotics as a Sexpert, from clitoral stimulators to vibrators to anal toys. This month I got to try out the Bound by Diamonds Diamond G.

The Diamond G comes in an easy to open clear plastic clamshell. The product is visible through the front, and the back shows an insert with a picture of the product and its various functions and properties.

This is a cute little vibrator. It’s just 4 1/4″ long and about 1 1/8” wide at its thickest point. It is 2 1/2″ insertable, if you choose to use it that way. While it has a g-spot tip, it won’t work for g-spot stimulation unless yours is very shallow. The tip is hooked and blunt but pronounced. Made of black ABS plastic with a PU coating, the whole toy is smooth and satiny to the touch.

The base is separated from the insertable portion of the Diamond G by a silver plated band. The base has a half circle of “diamonds” which increase in size from bottom to top. The bottom of the base has a single black push button.

Right below the band is an O-ring to keep the Diamond G waterproof. Right above and below the band are white arrows. When the arrows are lined up, the base is unlocked and can be removed to access the battery compartment. The Diamond G takes 2 AAA batteries, and their direction is clearly labeled. The base is easy to put back on – simply align the arrows, push the halves together, and turn until the base is secure.

The Diamond G features 3 settings. The first is a high and steady vibration. This is followed by a fast pulse, and then 1 long pulse followed by 4 short pulses. A final push of the button turns it off. The vibrations are buzzy, surface vibrations of moderate strength, and they are somewhat louder than a vibrating cell phone, but won’t be heard with background music on.

The Diamond G is easy to clean both before and after use with mild soap and warm water. It can be dried and then stored in a drawer or storage bag. Only waterbased lubricant should be used.

So, Did It Work? This isn’t a bad little vibrator for clitoral stimulation. The vibrations are only moderately strong , but work well for foreplay teasing. I like the tip for direct and pinpoint stimulation and the third pattern is quite nice. The Diamond G doesn’t work for g-spot stimulation for me as it’s too short, but if yours is shallow it might work for you. The bottom button is easy to push, but not so easy that I kept changing patterns or turning it off.

Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending me the Diamond G to review! If you’d like to give the Diamond G a try, you can pick one up at EdenFantasys by clicking the widget below.
