My husband and I like to play around with bondage and submissive play, and we were looking something to give us a new experience . I purchased the Hog Tie Set from Sportsheets at EdenFantasys as it looked like it would add some fun.
The set comes in an easy-to-open clamshell case, with a picture of a girl restrained by the set on the cover. It is made in the USA.
The set has 5 pieces – 4 cuffs for wrists and ankles and a Hog Tie piece. The cuffs are each 10” long (although I had one that was slightly shorter than the others at 9 3/4″). Each cuff has a Velcro strap and nylon webbing that extends the length to 15 1/2″. The cuffs will fit smaller wrists and ankles with some overlap, and larger ones with a gap between the cuff ends. The Velcro piece is quite long, but can be trimmed down so that it doesn’t overlap the ring.
The cuffs themselves are soft and smooth, and have a velour/felt feel. I’m not sure what they’re made of, but they seem sturdy, and resistant to stretching and tearing. Each cuff has a small Sportsheets logo on a tag on the front. They are 2” wide, with the Velcro/nylon pieces being 1” wide and centered on the cuffs. The black stitching seems secure, and although you can see and feel the stitching on the back side that goes against your skin, it doesn’t rub or feel uncomfortable during wear.
On each cuff is a loop in the nylon webbing where the metal keychain loop, about 1 1/4″, is attached. This loop is also connected to a snap hook.
The hogtie piece consists of a large steel O-ring 2” in diameter, around which 4 keychain rings with 1 1/8” diameter are attached by nylon. The nylon is wrapped around each and the center ring and held in place by 2 rivets, each with the S logo. The nylon connectors create about 1” of space between the O-ring and the connector rings. These rings are securely connected. You can slide them around the ring to aid in adjusting the position and comfort of the tie.
This set is quite versatile. All 5 pieces can be used together to create the standard position, either kneeling or on your stomach. The cuffs can be used separately and attached to each other or other items for bondage play as well.
If cleaning is necessary, simply wipe the pieces down with soap and water and air dry. They can also be washed safely in the washing machine on a gentle cycle in a garment bag.
