I’ve been on the lookout for fun items that might make their way to Vegas with me next month. I intend to do some pampering and be pampered, so what better way to do that than massages and oils? With that in mind, I wanted to try out the Babeland Massage Oil Spray from Babeland.com.
The Massage Oil Spray comes in four scents: Blackberry Vanilla Musk, Himalayan White Tea, Lavender Vanilla, and Orange Blossom. I’m partial to vanilla, so I requested the Blackberry Vanilla Musk to try.
This spray comes in a 2 ounce spray bottle that can be recycled. It’s completely sealed with plastic. The oil is clear with a light tint to it in the plastic bottle. The front label is pink with white text, and the back lists the ingredients of sweet almond oil, vitamin E (tocopheryl), cyclomethicone, and fragrance. The blackberry vanilla smells yummy – the scents mix together well, but aren’t overly sweet or cloying.
This is really easy to use – just remove the cap, prime the pump (first use), spray it on, and rub it in. It can be reapplied as necessary. Once primed, one squirt gives you about a quarter-sized squirt of oil. It will run if you spray it up close, so make sure you’re ready to rub it in. If you spray from farther away, the oil mists fairly well and covers a much larger area that’s easy to rub in.
The oil is very light and doesn’t feel at all greasy. It rubs easily into the skin. Once rubbed in, the scent is very light and smells more like blackberries than vanilla to me.
So, Did It Work? While this doesn’t seem to have the lasting power of other massage oils I’ve used, I love the fact that I can spray it on and there’s not the mess that you get from pouring oil out of a bottle. The scent is great and light. Once the oil has been rubbed in, I love how it makes my skin feel soft and I also like that it absorbs well and doesn’t leave a layer on my skin. My husband didn’t mind the scent, although I wouldn’t say it was one of his favorites (but, as long as it isn’t all flowery, he’s pretty happy).
