(Sinfully) Sweet Dreams are Made of This…

I love being part of the Cal Exotics Sexpert program. I never know what’s coming each month, and it’s usually a nice surprise. This month was no exception, as I received the Sinfully Sweet vibrator for review.

The Sinfully Sweet vibrator comes in a blue, black and clear plastic box. The vibrator is visible through the front and sides, and a picture of the product and additional information is on the back. Inside the box is the vibrator and a small instruction manual for inserting batteries into Cal Exotics toys (not specific to the Sinfully Sweet).

This is a cute little vibrator. It’s just 5 1/2” long and 4 1/4″ insertable, with a 1 1/4″ diameter. It’s made of shiny black ABS plastic, and it’s slick and smooth. It has a bulbous tip with gently tapered end to aid in insertion or use for pinpoint clitoral stimulation (don’t insert this anally, though, as it doesn’t have a flared base). The vibrator has a gentle wave to its shape. On each side of the shaft is a bright pink heart with horns, making the Sinfully Sweet a bit devilish. It’s slightly raised from the vibrators surface and may provide some light internal stimulation. The bottom of the Sinfully Sweet has a silver accent ring (silver plated ABS plastic) which surrounds the push button base.

The cap unscrews to access the battery compartment. The battery direction is clearly labeled. Simply insert 2 AAA batteries and screw the cap back on tightly and you’re ready to go. The Sinfully Sweet has an O-ring below the threads to seal the battery compartment from water, so you can have fun with it both on the bed and in the tub.

Sinfully Sweet is controlled by the large push button on the bottom of its base. The button is made of silicone and is a matte black. Pressing the button starts the vibrator, and will also cycle through the following settings:

– High and steady
– Fast pulse
– Fast pulse, low and steady, medium and steady
– 5 medium pulses followed by several seconds of very fast pulses
– High and steady, medium and steady, low and steady, back up to medium and then to high
– 3 fast pulses and 1 steady rev 4 times then 2 medium pulses
– Fast pulses, then high and steady

The last push of the button turns it off. The vibrations are buzzy, and moderately strong.

The Sinfully Sweet is easy to clean. It should be washed both before and after use with warm water and antibacterial soap and toweled dry. It should be stored without batteries, and can be stored in its box or in a toy pouch or drawer.

So, Did It Work? This is a pretty decent vibe. I like the coloring and the way the shaft has the gentle wave to it. While it’s not the strongest I’ve used – I’d say the vibrations are moderately strong – I do like the amount of patterns. It’s rare that when a vibrator has 3 steady patterns of varying strength that I use anything but the high, so dropping the low and medium in favor of 2 more patterns is a win for me, and I found the patterns a lot more effective than the steady on this one.

The only thing I really don’t care for on this one is the large, easy to press button on the bottom. It’s easy to push and change patterns when I want, but it’s also easy to push and change patterns when I don’t want. I’d prefer an on/off button as well, since sometimes I do need to turn off a vibe in a hurry and don’t want to have to cycle through all of the patterns to shut it off.
