4Us For Us!

My partner and I haven’t tried a lot of cock rings, but we have discovered that they can be a lot of fun. Especially when they vibrate. So when I had the opportunity to review the 4Us Cock Ring by Rocks Off Ltd. for Good Vibrations Sex Toys, I was buzzing with excitement.

The 4Us comes in a see through plastic hexagon-shaped box, with purple base and lid. The 4Us is visible through the box, and product information is included on 2 of the 6 sides. It’s made in the UK, and the box contains a small informational booklet with the box information in different languages under the lid. The box is ideal for storing the ring when it’s not in use.

The cock ring I received is a matte black, with a bit of drag to the surface. A noticeable seam runs up and around the sides, but it’s not noticeable during use. The ring is made of Intramed, which is a soft and flexible material, reminiscent of silicone. It has no scent or taste. Intramed is a medical grade material, and it’s phthalates-free, nonporous, and body safe.

This is a very interesting, unusual-looking cock ring. Instead of a closed circle, the ring that encircles the shaft of the penis has what looks like a loop at the top. This makes it easy to open the ring and put it on. The entire piece with the bullet inserted is 5 3/4″ long. The ring itself has an internal diameter of 1 1/4″. It stretches to about 2 1/4”. The ring is about 1/2″ thick, and has 6 evenly spaced nubs on the inside for stimulation. The base where the bullet slips in is 2” long.

The included bullet (which is removable) is the RO-80MM, which I’ve used before in other toys and like a lot. This bullet is black, with the labeling on the side, and the silver base has a push button on the bottom to turn it on and off. The bullet is 3 1/4” long and just 1/2″ wide, with a pointed tip. It works great in the cock ring, but also works great in other toys or by itself. One N battery is inserted + side first to power the bullet. The bullet has a strong, buzzy vibration, and the vibrations transmit well through the entire ring.

The bullet and the cock ring are waterproof, so you can use this in bed as well as the shower or bath.

The 4Us cock ring is meant to be worn at the base of the penis, and doesn’t slip over the balls. The bullet can be worn so it sticks up, which works for missionary positions, or so it points down for positions like doggie. The ring shouldn’t be worn for longer than 20-30 minutes since it traps blood flow to the penis.

The 4Us is easy to clean. The cock ring and bullet can both be washed with antibacterial soap and water and dried with a soft cloth. They can also be cleaned with a toy cleaner or a 10% bleach solution. The sleeve should be dried completely before slipping the bullet back into its base. I’d recommend storing this in it’s box and washing before use, as it does tend to collect lint.

Water-based lubricants are safe to use with the 4Us. You won’t need to lube up the bullet before putting it in the ring – it’s easy to insert and remove while staying securely in place during use.

So, Does It Work? It does indeed! Even though this is a bit strange looking, it works well.  We liked that this only went at the base of the penis, and I loved the length of the clitoral stimulator.  It worked much better than the short ones we’ve used, and it was flexible enough to get in the right spot. The ring was easy to get on and was tight enough for my husband, although it did pull a few hairs. I really like the vibrations from the bullet, and my husband found them stimulating as well. The battery has had good life so far.  It even works when I put it on the base of a toy for extra stimulation.  This is a fun cock ring, and definitely recommended!

Everyone Needs A Mistress

I’ve always wanted a Mistress. Well, not that kind. The nifty little vibrating toy from Vixen Creations. I’ve drooled and lusted after her for quite some time. So when Babeland offered up the Mistress for review, I pounced on it.

The Mistress comes in the standard Vixen cylinder with red lids. It has some product information on the front, and is ideal for storing the Mistress when she’s not in use.

I love blue toys, and this Mistress is a beautiful turquoise color. The color reminds me of that great decorating color in the 60s.  She’s gorgeous and unimposing, with no noticeable seam to mar her body. The Mistress is about 7” long, with 6 1/2″ insertable. She’s a slim girl, with a diameter of just 1 1/4″. Her base is 2 7/8” in diameter, making her ideal for harness play (she’s O-ring compatible) and safe for anal play as well.

The Mistress is super flexible and squishy, yet firm enough to thrust with and wonderfully smooth. She has a noticeable head, making her semi-realistic, but the head and ridge are squishy as well. The Mistress is gently curved, although the curve doesn’t provide much in the way of g-spot stimulation since she’s not firm enough.

The base has a hole in it where the bullet can be inserted. The bullet is silver and has a wrist strap. It’s 2” long and just 3/4″ in diameter. While the bullet goes in fairly easily, it’s hard to get out if you don’t put some lubricant on it!

The bullet is powered by 3 G18-A batteries, which go in + side up. The batteries are easy to insert, but they do need a tap or two to remove them from the bullet for replacement. It isn’t waterproof, so don’t take the Mistress into the bath unless you use her without it.

The bullet has a push button on the bottom, which allows you to turn the bullet on and off. The bullet just has 1 speed, which is a high, buzzy vibration. The vibrations are strongest where the bullet is inserted in the Mistress, but they can be felt quite well at the tip as well.

The Mistress is made of silicone, so she’s phthalates-free, latex-free, hypoallergenic and body safe. She’s easy to clean. Simply remove the bullet and wash her with antibacterial soap and warm water (you can also use your favorite toy cleaner). She can also be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack or boiled to sanitize her.

So, Does She Work? She does, indeed! While I find her a bit small for vaginal use, she slides in and out with ease and I love how she feels. She’s a bit too soft to hit my g-spot, but she’s nice and quite a bit of fun, and her vibrations feel good. Her wide base makes her easy to control, although if you press too hard with your hand you may shut the bullet off.

Where the Mistress excels for me is anal play. She’s the right size in both diameter and length to use comfortably with just a little warm up. Her softness and flexibility really make her comfortable to use, and my partner had no problems thrusting with her. I could feel her vibrations all up and down her shaft, which helped with incredible orgasms!

If you like a smaller-sized toy for vaginal use or anal play, the Mistress is sure to please.

Vibrate Your Ass!

I’m always looking for fun new anal toys, and vibrating ones in particular. There really is nothing quite like the feeling of something vibrating in your butt. So when Vibrator.com offered to send me the Touche Bona Dea Anal Beads to review, I was quite excited.

The Bona Dea (literally, “Good Goddess”) comes packaged in a black box with silver and white lettering and accents. The product is visible through the front window, and is fully displayed by lifting the magnetically close flap on the back. The back of the box contains product information in several languages.

Inside the box is the Bona Dea, a 2 instruction manuals (4 languages each), and a “Bullet Key”. This key allows you to remove the bullets easily from the bulbs of the toy. The bullets can be removed without it, but it’s very hard to do so.

The Bona Dea is covered by a one year warranty on problems with the motor or silicone tearing do to material or manufacturing errors. This warranty doesn’t cover neglect or misuse.

The Bona Dea comes in 2 vibrant colors, pink and purple. I chose the purple one, and it’s a lovely shade, and smooth to the touch, with just a little drag under your finger. The entire toy is 9” long, with 6” insertable. It consists of 3 bulbs separated by stems atop a handle. The entire piece is completely flexible, especially the stems, and will bend and flex with your body.

Each bulb is nicely shaped, about 1 3/4″ long and 1 1/4″ wide at its widest point. The stem between each is about 3/8” wide and 1/4″ long. The stem is narrow enough to keep the bulb in place, whether you insert 1, 2, or all 3 of them. The handle is curved and has a 1 1/2″ long, 3/4″ wide hole, which is easy to slip a finger into.

The bulbs each hold a bullet, which is 1 3/8” long and 1/2″ wide. These are inserted on the bottom of the bulb closest to the base. When properly inserted, the top of the bullet is flush with the bottom of the bulb. The bullets are a cream-colored plastic, and each holds 2 LR 41 cell batteries. They run on ultrasonic motors and have a runtime of 40 minutes each. The bullets are very quiet, and you can’t hear them at all when the Bona Dea is inserted.

The tricky part with these anal beads is inserting the bulbs with the bullets activated. It doesn’t take much of a press to turn the bullets on or off, and when inserting the bulbs you have to be careful to hold the stem below the bulb so as not to hit the bullet’s base. If you do turn it off by mistake, press it again when the bulb is fully inserted, then go down to the next stem to begin to insert the next bulb.

The Bona Dea is made of 100% silicone, so it’s non-porous, phthalates-free, latex-free, and hypoallergenic. It should be cleaned both before and after each use with antibacterial soap and warm water. It can also be run through the dishwasher in the top rack to disinfect it, but make sure to remove the bullets! The bullets can be removed with the provided tool. They fit very snugly, so if you lose the tool, you’ll have to firmly press the top of the bulb down to push out the bullet.

The bullets are plastic and splashproof, but not waterproof, so they should not be submerged in water. They can be cleaned with soap and warm water or a toy cleaner. The bullets and the Bona Dea should be completely dry before reinserting the bullets. Only water based lubricants should be used with this toy. The Bona Dea shouldn’t be used vaginally if you are menstruating, and should not be used at all if you are pregnant.

This chain can be used vaginally as well as anally, but the toy should always be thoroughly cleaned and a condom should be used if you plan to use it in both places. You should also use a condom if sharing this toy.

So, Does It Work? Yes! I love that each bulb has its own vibrating bullet. So often with vibrators, the vibrations just don’t carry down the entire length of the toy. With the Bona Dea, since each bulb has its own bullet, the vibrating sensations are quite pleasant and distinct. Even though the bullets aren’t encased by silicone, there’s no worry about them slipping out and ending up somewhere they shouldn’t. They firmly seat into each bulb, and the bulb openings are at the bottom.

I didn’t find the bulb string too long, and once it was fully inserted, to the handle I didn’t have any problems with the bulbs popping out. The only real problem I had was turning off the bullets as I was inserting each bulb. What I found to work the best was not to worry about it until the bulb was just inserted, and then pressing on the bullet bottom to turn it on if it wasn’t. I didn’t have any problem with the next bulb causing the previous one to turn off. The bulbs were a bit more difficult to get out then get in, but that made for a pleasant sensation as well.

The Touche Bona Dea is definitely a lot of fun for anal play. If you’d like to give it a try, you can get yours at Vibrator.com .

What’s Your Pleasure?

Does the blade of a knife cutting through your butter soft skin turn you on? Do you grow hard watching a woman smoke cigarettes? Do you get excited by wearing women’s lingerie? Or does Santa Claus make you “Ho, Ho, Ho?” If fetishes and well-written erotica appeal to you, this book will too.

Best Fetish Erotica, edited by Cara Bruce and printed by Cleis Press, is a collection of short stories first published in 2000 and 2002 that explore the realm of fetish sex. The stories pack a punch, and run the gamut from the mild to the extreme. Easy to pick up, hard to put down, this collection is sure to expose you to fetishes you dream about as well as ones you can’t forget once you read them.

The book is 183 pages, and contains 21 stories, each by a different author. This is a softcover edition and oversized (9” x 6”), with a slick cover featuring the back of a corseted woman. The typeset is clear and readable, with no pictures or drawings inside. The back pages of the book give some information about the authors contained within.

The editor, Cara Bruce, has had her stories appear in other collections and is also the editor of VenusOrVixen.com. The writers all come from diverse backgrounds with various publishing credits to their names.

Each story in this collection features a different fetish, and each author stimulates, educates, and arouses the reader. The fetishes included contain some common ones: a piece of lingerie, masochism/torture, smoking, interracial sex, knife play, wearing women’s clothes, mothers, voyeurism, teacher/student, and spankings. They also include some less common fetishes: smiles, robot sex, whore genes, cars, dolls, vegetarians, colors, and even Santa.  Yes, Santa.

I found all of the stories in this collection to be well-written and engaging. Some of the stories are very short (the shortest is 3 pages), while others run to about 20 pages, but all are short enough to sit down and read in 5 to 10 minutes. I haven’t read a lot of this type of erotica, so all of the stories were fresh for me, even though they date back several years. Some of the stories employ humor, while others are quite serious in tone.

There are stories here that will not appeal to everyone, due to their subject matter, but that’s what I would expect in this type of anthology. If you’re reading this one, you’re more than likely interested in fetishes, and probably have one or two of your own.

My favorite stories in this collection were “Machine” by Raven Caldera, about a woman who dresses up as a pleasure object and is guided by another; “Horsepower” by Tom Piccirilli, dealing with hot sex and hot cars; and “Man and Woman: A Study In Black and White” by Rachel Resnick, about a white woman and a black man each with a fetish for the other.

I would recommend this book if you enjoy thought provoking, sometimes edgy stories about what turns some people on. This book is a great way to explore how others get off.

This book is one of two featured by the Sexis Naked Reader Book Club this month.  If you’re interested in reading Best Fetish Erotica, you can pick up your copy from EdenFantasys.
